Another cruise line ship in trouble..am sure carnival will be hurting for a long time with all these problems..note to self, do not to book a cruise!

Yup. as in any city, there are enclaves of movers and shakers...those areas that radiate from LSU south along the river are among them.

We hope to be working the Blues fest this year...DD will be here so we will have to see...as much as I would love to be there, it will depend on the date and her plans this year.

We have a young accomplished teacher in New Orleans missing also. As for cruise lines....this is surely not their year...two stalled out ships and another with a massive outbreak of Norovirus...think I will limit my boat travel to a pirogue on the bayou.

Betty - you mentioning the grilled cheese sandwich reminds me of a show preview I saw - America's Worst Cooks. Guess the fellow was told to make a grilled cheese sandwich, so he flipped the cheese Right Onto the grill....... took it off Right Away, but by then there was sloppy cheese on the grill ROFL

Calling it a day re cleaning craft room, made a spot for the frame..no sense revamping everything and finding out I have to re-arrange so off for a bath, get dressed and take a run to the stained glass studio.

For one who hardly slept last night, I'm doing OK. Lots of dog barking these nights, with neighbors away and their dogsitter has another dog or two there. Lots of barking. I've fixed a gate so my barkers can be put in the back yard which may help. The anti-bark collars aren't helping at all.Max is better in many ways but I still have to be careful.

tony finished the rack for hanging plants for the new garden. We went shopping and got plumbing stuff to hook up soaker hoses. The little squash plants are taking off in this warmer weather.

I'm trying to stay awake through the day so I can sleep at night.

It was good to get to town and see some friends and get fresh orange juice and vegetables.

We are indeed hanging in there with you Katie..been trying to do same, no napping during the day so I an sleep all night. Will your soaker hoses be on top of ground or underneath?

Time to do laundry and get some rest. Back on the road for very early Monday morning to Ohio again, going to try and do
it in a day trip. Much the same as your day trips over here Betty.
