Thanks again everyone♥
Prayers continue for your MIL Victor.
Jen if that Fordhook Farm thing was on Sunday I would have met you there. It's not far from me, only about 30 minutes. Friday I have all three kids and Saturday a wedding...shoot...
Coffee Break # 81
Thanks, A.
Continued prayers for your MIL, Victor.
That tunnel project sound interesting.
Continuing prayers for your mil
Nuts! Ronnie
How did you get in to see a tour like that, Victor?
Cannot reveal that...
:P
Just want to gripe:
Its official I will not be submitting images to the database on Daves.
What a crock.
I opened the website this AM and was met with 9 mails from admin. These date back to last year. My images are too small. I have read others remarks on the subject but didnt really register until it was my turn.
They can blow sand. I have no idea which of the 10 images in my files of Allium Silver spring they are referring to and there were 3 mails on that plant alone. I have dozens of images of any of the plants they rejected.
Wanna know why I am not here very much? Images are important and loading and viewing the 5 we get on each thread is a royal pain compared to the other site.
I wont be resizing just for DG. so I doubt PF will see any of my plants.Sounds childish but tuff noogies.
want us to make our pics smaller for threads... bigger for PF.. too much work now.. that's why I am more than happy to just post them on google and a link here.. less of a headache
I agree, thats why I compos the Smile Boxes. More pix in less space.
The sizing issue for this one an only site ,with the other sites I visit, sure is a pain in the you know what.
Fewer PF images will be the result.
We enjoy both your smileboxes & other pictures.
Enjoy other people's pictures as well. Pooh to them.
Continued prayers for your family Victor.
Ronnie that is THE BEST news i've heard in awhile!
Like Allison said its too much fuss for one website.
Smileboxes will continue when images are more than 5.
NO MORE Plant Files tho.
I like the links to your pics, ladies.
If Victor told us, then he'd have to kill us. Heehee
I LOVE it when contractors come to work in a neighborhood before 7 am. However it made for a fun morning. Heehee
Good grief.
We have a neighbor who toots twice when he leaves his house for work. The worst hour was a Sunday at 6 AM.
DD travels and catches an early plane. She has threatened to stop at his house at 4 AM and lay on the horn.
Oh, boy. Guess he wants everyone to know he will miss them. Does he toot to let you know he is home also?
Nope. They lived in Pittsburg before they moved here. I think its a regional farewell.
Adam Update:
Adam got his last dose of chemo for this cycle yesterday. They are hoping to go home today as long as he keeps his feeds down and no fever. What a small miracle that will be in it's self!!!
On the 'Angels For Adam' page I can see his friends list and I recognize quite a few from DG, this Great Great Aunt just wants to say..............THANK YOU!!!
Pixie's Weight Update:
I gained 9 lbs. since Jan.!!!!!!! Whoopie Pie's & Scotcheroo's did it. ^_^
Great news for Adam & Domenic! And for you, Pixie....now how can I subtract 9 lbs from me? Jo, your Smileboxes are wonderful....very artistic....Victor, so sorry about MIL...my neighbor across the road is a welder.....his company makes turntables for trains, planes, etc He has worked on the new NY subway, also one in Washington, & is now in Utah working on one for the Air Force.....
Such good news for Adam and family.
Yay for weight gain, Pixie. I could have just shared some of mine.
hope adam get's to go home!
best for your MIL victor
Good News!
Wonderful for Adqm though we can keep him on our mental prayer list.
I hope your MIL improves, Victor. Am soon to be in her age range, myself.
HOORAY for Adam and his family! How nice that will be...prayers continue today...I am so counting my blessings!
Good going on the weight gain Celeste!
We are going to see a lawyer tonight to talk about Luci. I was rather disturbed that the owner didn't contact us to see if she was OK...the women in the daycare part did but not the owner. Wondering if her lawyer told her not to(??) My DIL said a care package came to the house with a card that said so sorry you hurt "yourself"...what's that all about! Shouldn't it have said "so sorry you got hurt while in our care"
If the daycare center sent it they would be admitting guilt, all contact is a no no from a lawyer point of view
Never thought I'd be excited about someone gaining weight, YAY Celeste...forgot to tell you that my daughter had her first whoopie pie last week...now sh'e really looking foward to the RU at your house, LOL
Found a wandering moose in Plainville, CT today....that's a very built up area in the center of the state.....
You saw it?
yeah for Adam!!!... hope he does get to go home!!!... and see I brought the rain and made you gain weight.. LOL.. such a bad influence!!!
I chased a hen turkey away from our garden with a rake. Tiring project when you are 77. Their dust baths dig up the plants although they eat crickets.
ADAM HAS GONE HOME!!!!!!!!!! His parents are ecstatic, can't blame them!!! Doing a happy happy dance right now!!!!!!!
yes indeed. I am sure Adam pays more attention to his parents rather than place, but it is wonderful.
Oh, doing a happy dance with you!!! Yippee!!!
Finally! Wondeful for them.
OH How wonderful that is!!
I'm glad to hear the medical updates. Praying for the DG family.
For Victor, my DH was talking to my DS about why he's not only doing electrical engineering/systems engineering--he was first trained in a technical college and then went to the university. Lots of practical experience.
I've been thinking I might mostly send pics to Plant Files since I don't like taking away resolution in a picture to make a blurry one. I so much like to see the pictures that people have cared to post there because I am learning. Still, they don't explain why they've "corrected" some of my posts which I've copied from a book from someone I've thought was an expert.
Crosspost. Yay for Adam!
Cool, Rose.
Anyone have an electric range? Happy with it? How does it compare to gas, other than monthly cost? Sealed gas burners? Like them? I am thinking about just re-doing our center island and replacing the range. Thanks.
I have an electric one. It works fine for me.
Does it heat thensame size pot faster or slower than gas?
a little slower, but not much.
