I have mentioned this before but will repeat it. Was doing my window boxes today and some biting insect kept at my head. Was driving me nuts. Went in and sprayed myself with catnip and voila! No more problems.

Where do you get catnip spray?

Thanks so much for the thoughts and prayers, we need as many as we can get. Got a a call from my son telling us they wanted to do some kind of full body scan on Domenic and he would have to be sedated for it, we will get the results on Monday.
On top of the stress of worry about that, while we were at the gym this morning a catering table fell on my GD Luci's foot in the babysitting room! Fractured in 3 places. Apparently another little girl was climbing on the table and it fell over. I don't know if the table was supposed to be there or not.

Oh, frack, Jo, sounds like we're in an episode of Battlestar Galactica! Not to diminish your anger over what's going on. I try not to get too heated over things that our government does, as I have enough stress in my life already. It is senseless what they're doing, though. Can't believe they're selling water to Japan!

Luci will go to the ortho today to see about a cast. Her sister Sophie was funny all she wants to do is be able to draw on it!
I stared prednisone yesterday for my PI and already the itching has calmed down, thank goodness. I was looking out the window where the weeds are and may have to call someone to clean it out. I'm afraid to take any chances.

Glad the itching has subsided. That is the worst!

I had to start the Medrol pack yesterday too. My PI had me up the night before last. Much better now.

Natural gas is cheap & clean. I hate electric companies. You can fight city hall easier.

I got bit by something on my eye again, its swollen, same eye same place WTH? I hate Benadryl. It makes me dopey and tired, but I have to take it to get the swelling to go down quicker.

oh feel better Sherrie.. I got stung or bit by something quick yesterday.. didn't even see it.. wasn't that bad though

Sherrie, I had to get a cortisone shot for a bee sting near my eye......but...the doc told me to continue taking Benadryl! Ronnie, so sorry for Lucy.....awful time to have that happen! Hope all goes well for Domenic! Victor, I've found rubbing sweet fern on my skin repels bugs as well.....

Nothing will stop a mosquito from penetrating the skin except oil. Take a dryer sheet and rub it on your skin. Then stick the sheet in your hat or down your shirt.

Dryer sheets never worked for me. But I did lose any wrinkles I had.

they didn't work for me either.. but I am an exceptional magnet

Had a great day in Lancaster. Was going to send a pic on icab, but it isn't doing something and I have no idea what to do. Lol. We went to Hershey Farm located next to Sight and Sound for a buffet breakfast. Very good. Then we did the two tours and drove around on some back roads. Came home in time to go to a graduation party. Now the kiddies are running around catching fireflies after gathering some twigs for kindling. Pop-pop is finishing getting the tent set up. Almost time to light the fire.

happy anniversary Victor!!.. the skedattle works great for me.. but is a strong odor .. don't mind because it's natural stuff in there.. but have to remember to re spray every few hours

Luci has a "pink" cast from her toes to right below her knee. Her foot is broke in four places but she is doing great. Right now she thinks it's pretty cool.

Glad Luci is taking this so well and in no pain. I'd make sure the gym paid for the medical bills at least!
Jen, Deerfly is like a horsefly or a green head( the ones that are on the beach, they hatch in seaweed)....all the same family I believe. They hurt when they bite and leave a nasty welt!! Justin is allergic to all of them.
