I love limas
It's dinner time! Whatcha eatin'?
Me, too, especially little ones. I think some meatballs are on the menu tonight. Not sure of the rest though.
Jan, the roasted veggies sound great...sorry about the chicken...the last thing I dropped was an empty salad dressing container.....the glass was everywhere!
Thanks, RD. The veggies tasted great!
Plans changed for tonight. DH called from school and asked if I'd like to go out for dinner. He has a meeting after school, so, of course I said YES!!!
Oh, I would, too! My son called...he & family are coming for dinner tomorrow, which means I'll have to cook.
pork steaks and baked potatos tonight.
Since the family is coming I'm making Swedish meatballs, noodles, carrots, & pickled beets....also baked a coconut cake.
Chili over Rice with lots of Mexican cheese : ) It was delicious :) I haven't made it in at least a year.
Pasta/meatballs and salad
N.Y. Strip steak, baked potato, corn, and honey-wheat biscuits.
Mmm, Pixie, sounds delish....leftover Swedish meatballs here.
still full from lunch. we took DD out to lunch for her birthday. She'll be 20 on monday.
That was very nice...hope she has a very happy birthday! I roasted a chicken, mashed sweet potatoes, & brussel sprouts.
I put a chuck roast in the slow cooker about 10:30 this morning with onions, garlic, other spices, some butter and red wine. Added potatoes around 3:00 pm. Should be ready to eat very soon.

Wow - sounds cryptic, Jan. ^_^
b-day party for my son made strombolis
YUM! Happy B-Day to D! :)
nice!!
Last night we had chicken stew with dumplings.
Tonight it was pasta salad, grilled pork chops and peas. Molasses cookies for dessert.
I met David and Lindsey out for some football and way too much beer yesterday, but Lindsey was eating deep fried pickles. I wouldn't even try.
I never had one.. but would try it for sure
A ''locker'' cow is a freshly butchered cow you order from a meat locker. We shared a cow with three other people since a quarter is all the meat we need for the two of us. The hamburger alone is heavenly!
Give me you deep fried pickle and make me another. I've never had them either but I adore dill pickles!
I have no leftovers, so it's a clean slate here.
I have boiled eggs so I think I'll try some sort of cumin flavored chopped eggs in a tortilla :o)
fried pickle???? hmmmmmm interesting
I need some breakfast buffet food ideas for our church brunch.....
I make the best layered dish, grits, sausage, scrambled eggs topped with cheese. Mmm. Looks pretty in a clear dish.
Mmmmmm, recipe please!
Not really a recipe, just layer:
I use instant grits, made according to package, layer in dish, crumble cooked breakfast sausage over, next layer is scrambled egg (made with sour cream is good with this) then top with a shredded cheese of choice.
I use 1 serving of grits and 2 eggs per person, keeps warm well, and even is good reheated the next day.
Also pretty in individual glass dishes.
thanks
we had turkey last night. DH wanted turkey leftovers, we usually go to his sister's for turkey day.
Steak & cheese sandwich for lunch, so it's soup & salad for dinner....did I mention the 2 M&M & peanut cookies I ate that my friend made? Yummy.
BBQ chicken & ribs, tater salad, steamed then seasoned green beans.
something with ground beef............. I still have no idea????
tomorrow is my day for something with ground beef.. LOL
I ended up making sloppy joes
Randy likes that... he is easy though
Chicken, onions, black beans, and diced tomatoes with balsamic vinegar over potatoes. Salad.
I swear Jan... I just bought some black beans & have chicken.. not a big balsamic fan though
