Mashed taters made w/heavy cream & chives, baked ham, corn, and honey-wheat biscuits.

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Homemade tomatillo soup. I had to do something with them!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yum! Did you get any persimmons this year?

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

I'll tell you what not to try, I made blueberry banana pancakes for breakfast, DH said they were good, but they were really just ok. Needed salt.

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

I didn't get a single one. The tree bloomed for the first time and set every blossom and then they all fell off.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Bummer. Have not checked mine recently. Still young.

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

That tree was the very first plant I bought when I moved in and I think I have been here 10 years now. I googled and the cause of blossom drop could have been not enough sun. :( Don't understand that because it is an understory tree and I have seen them bearing fruit in California growing under high trees.

Thomaston, CT

Going out with friends for pizza tonight.

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

DH is making chicken tonight.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Had seasoned pork with rice and black beans and salad. Was yum.

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Had a rough day and didn't get lunch so I stopped at Mac Daddy and got macaroni and cheese with lobster. I guess it was good - I just am not crazy about macaroni and cheese - too much of the Kraft box stuff during college. Now I have a chocolate zucchini cake in the oven.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

mac and cheese and swedish meatballs

Thomaston, CT

I never bake, but someone told me to make a white cake, &, when baked, punch holes in it, & pour over coconut milk, sweetened condensed milk & shredded coconut......may do it now that I have an oven once more....

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Sounds like a variation on a tres leche cake.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

mmmmm, I love coconut

I made pumpkin bread the other day from one of those Libby kits.....oh man is that GOOD!!! and for some reason I don't get the gluten reaction from that I normally get...very weird

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

pumpkin aids in digestion

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

cool!

Thomaston, CT

Yes, good for dogs with diarrhea...

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Works for cats, too.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

And zombies.

Thomaston, CT

Ham & scalloped potatoes, green beans....

Concord, NH(Zone 5a)

Baked Mac and cheese

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Beef stew pieces in the pressure cooker. Will combine with lima beans. Also carrots and salad.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Love Limas

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Me too. And, surprisingly, so do my kids!

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

When we were kids we used to fight over how many Lima beans we got from the can of vegetable soup!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hee hee!

Amherst, NY(Zone 6a)

We went to Tony Pepperoni's Pizza Buffet. We love that place. ☺

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Roasted butternut squash, parsnips and bacon. Also leftover chicken Parm. which I dropped shattering the dish. DH, bless his heart cleaned up the mess while I changed then made a pork roll and cheese sandwich to go along with the roasted veggies. Wasn't in the plan, but I needed something else.

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

The ONLY vegetable I won't eat is Lima beans.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I hate ochra.
