Instead of getting out in back while still cool I had to sit in front of the TV watching the Life of Susan Boyle on Dish. Has such an amazing voice, her dream surely has come true. It isn't often I sit down during the day in front of the TV to watch something special.

Feeling pretty good today, that's because I called and made an appointment to see my doctor. I never get to see him when I'm feeling like "crap". Just the idea of going seems to help.

Pegi, each time I make an appt. to see the doctor, it never fails that I'd feel better. Must be a mental thing for us that don't like doctors!
I've seen that special Susan Boyle feature. Yes she has an awesome voice.
Do you watch tv a lot? I seem to be hooked to the "Hoarding, buried alive" lately. It kinda give me the nudge to clean the house!!

Judy.. I'll be there in spirit. You can't imagine how this has brought me down. Hoping to the last minute that things might change. But I know you'll be the grandest hostess and your guests wouldn't want your party to end.

Went out last night with my GF Suzanne,the first time that I have been out at a bar without Rick in YEARS !!!!!!!! Had Margaritas and a Great time !!!
Today Rick and I rode the bike to the Stark County Football Hall of Fame Balloon Classic Invitational and watch the Hot Air Balloons take off ,it was Great !!!!!
Hope and Pray all are well and having a wonderful weekend ,Jaye hope you are feeling OK.........

Oh my gosh!!! Many years ago my family was visiting my brother in Canada. It was during the hot air balloon event and I still get chill bumps remembering all the fantastic balloons we saw. No ladybugs tho. Thanks Synda. I love it.

she is doing well. she seems to not need as much meds as you would think. She only takes one
we got her garden and pond if tip top shape.
Ric and Robyn were there also. great help and great people they are.

getting to old for 4 wheeling. my back is killing me. my grandson fell off of his. thankfully he didn't get hurt

got some things done today
got all the EE's ( 25 Illustris ) moved and in a kiddie pool of water LOL Ric gave me the idea. I forgot all about our little pool.
got some tree's that need much attention. weeds pulled out of their pots and moved onto a wood thingy , then got some trays and got most of the plants in them so they don't dry up to quick after i water.
kids helped me wth some projects in the house with cleaning and getting things organized for tims arrival on wendsday
got grocerys
paid bills
whew i m pooped

Sue thanks for the update on Cookie, miss her so much and so glad she's not in very much pain. Ric and Robyn are very nice people and I'm so glad I got to meet them, not to brag or anything LOL!

Had a glorious deluge of rain yesterday afternoon that continued into the early evening. It's wonderful!! The grounds need a good soaking and my green babies need to recover too.
It will take a week of intermittent rain to quench the thirst.

I've never been in a hot air balloon, been close to one.. doesn't it look like an awesome colored beast?

Susan, I lost all my EEs planted inground. Not planning to replace them. I'm not going to push my zone anymore. Too expensive. I had some giant EEs in pots, planted them 2 years ago as my zone was an 8. Was became 7 :( due to an unexpected heavy prolonged snow.
You'll give Austin and Savannah a good reward after helping you.. I suggest a trip to Baskin Robbins.

It's the start to Kel's school. He leaves at 6 and return at 6. He's quite apprehensive about the training as he's supposed to have field practise, and the heat in that town might not co-operate.

I am here Jaye. just busy with the boys! They are getting excited about going home to be with Momma tomorrow. so I am washing the last load of clothes, and getting all the toys packed up. Funny how they always go back with a lot more than what they came with.
I took the shopping yesterday for school clothes, and supplies. Rory, the 6 year old is so picky. No Grandma, I don't like that style, no Grandma, I don't like that color... Even though they are both in public schools, they have to wear a uniform, blue pants, and dark blue or white polo shirts, so he did not have a choice.
Boy that pie sure sounds good, got any left?
Synda, those pictures are so pretty, sounds like you had a great time. I have never seen a hot air balloon up close like that! I know Albuquerque has one every year. Looks like it is in 2 months. Just wish it was not a 10 & 1/2 hour drive!

Oh I hope LK didn't get the last bite of pie. If she did that is okay too.

I get the fun of school shopping on Wednesday. The girls have to wear uniforms also but they are going to a private school. We only have the list of supplies needed: tissues, lysol spray, hand wipes, pencils..well you get the picture. This has been out "on going" shopping trip since Abbigail was in preschool but last year we had a list for CB. What fun!!!

Jaye, hope I can send you a little more rain..it is coming down fairly hard here at the moment. I had hoped to work a little in the yard but will defer to the rain today.

Hey Marion, how is your eye healing? When do you get your other one fixed?

My eye is so so at the moment. I have started having some issues but I am not sure they are cataract related. I haven't set any date for the other eye right now. I need to go back South to spend some time with Mom again. No, not months on end like I did last year...things get to out of control and I can't seem to get caught up.

Ok, so my mom was laying in bed last night and a June bug flew into her ear, took the ear doc 2 hours to get it out today.

AND

You know it's hot in Arkansas when you do a Hog Call and cooked bacon comes running!

Love that Arkansas joke! Glad the doctor was able to get that darn bug out before an infection set in.

It's hot here, makes me want to nap all the time. It rained in the mountains so we have humidity. If it was going to rain at least we could have enjoyed some of it.

Need to get out yet before it gets dark and water everything. It is so dry!!

i saw a show Medical Mysterys and a guy had a bug in his ear.He would scream and was just frozen in pain, if he moved it would lodge the bug deeper and cause agonizing pain. a nurser figured it out LOL it was gross. i m glad you got it out . your poor mom.
i use ear plugs at night so that won't happen to me.

24 hr countdown until Tim is home
he should arrive on american soil when he hits LA and has a 5 hr lay over then , he is arrives here at Columbus around 8 30 am . about an hr drive but since FIL is driving it may be 2 hr. his driving is really slowed down and i m honestly scared to drive with him sad to see it.
My own parenst driving i don't drive with them either way to scary !!
my parents will be here the day Tim leaves
They will stay 6 days. drive home 8 days LOL Dad won't fly.

Yes Susan, it was one of the smaller caramel colored ones but still. It got down to her eardrum, I asked her how big her ears are anyway, no wonder I could never sneak out of the house when I was a kid, sheesh!!

Pegi she didn't get it out before an infection set in, it is infected but she has ear drops that will get rid of that, so it's not a big deal. She did say they had to numb her ear to get it out, she said it felt like they were trying to pull the inside of her ear out.

Sue Yay a clean truck!! Bet it looks good! Tim's leaving again right after he gets home???

You are all going to think I am stupid. I am back home with Doug. I was so miserable at my mom's that I was being a real "B". I was mean to Calvin when he was trying to joke around with me. Then he wouldn't talk to me :( Then I snapped at my mom :( I feel so bad about it but all I wanted was to be with Doug. I came back yesterday and we talked and talked and I cried and cried :) All is good again and I know this is where I belong. After I lost my hubby I never thought I could find true LOVE again. But I did with Doug.


Ladies I need your help in spreading the word about the 3-B house swap only 2 others have signed up other than myself :(
