Ok first to answer Crissy's question......Calvin will be 53 Aug 16th. He is 6'1", strawberry blond hair, blue/green eyes, not a very handsome man but his persoanlity makes up for it. It's kind of scary how often we think alike while we are working together. We are always telling each other "Get out of my head" lol. Mom said he is welcome to stay here and helps us clean this place up as long as no one says anything about him living in the motorhome. Really all he does is sleep in it, everything else he uses the house. So all of the things that mom has been wanting to get done these last 6 years are going to get done now.

I still need to go back to Doug's to get my house plants but I am dreading seeing Doug. It hurts so much because I still love him with all my heart. I would like to be able to stay friends and maybe even still date but don't think he will go for that. Oh well we'll see what happens when I go there.

Ok gotta get dressed we are going to take Harlee for a walk. I will be getting new internet service around the 28th or so YAY!! will be faster than this dial-up.

Cindy I hope I'm not overstepping here, I don't mean to, but don't let a man do that to you, if it's over then move on, I know it sucks and hurts but I think it's for the best here. I've actually cried so much over men before I would cry myself out, and at that point it feels good to just let go. There are too many fish in the sea to be all sick hearted over one, especially one that you have had problems with in the past. Good luck getting your stuff and hope it's calm.

I went to a DG luncheon yesterday with a small group of AR girls and had the most wonderful time!!! A couple gals from MS and one from LA crashed the party, it was soooo good to see them again, it's been a couple of years!

Cindy, I have to agree with Crissy. Once he has treated you like he has, it won't get any better. You deserve someone better! I would find a way to go get your plants while he is gone, and get over him.

I agree with LK about getting your plants while Doug is gone, if that's possible. Just how often can our hearts be broken before they can't be repaired? I can't believe I asked that!

Marion, don't worry, I'm taking it very easy. The heaviest thing I did was to check on FB.

The headaches are still here. Getting worse, guess it's a mixture of sinus and bp. I am taking 400 mg. now, but I know it will take time for my bp to be normal.
I've been having problems walking again. I'm not on Lantus, which will be worse. But I think it's the circulation in my legs.

Each time, I have to think or even speak.. my head spins :))
Proof of overworking what little brain cells I have?

Good news though. It's raining for 3 days, so didn't have to work in the garden!

You know ladies I do ot mind getting advice at all from you at all ^_^. I am taking one day at a time. BUT!!!! I have made up my mind that I will NOT move in with another man. My home is here with my Mom. BUT that doesn't mean I am going to go without seeing men. Right now I am concentrating on getting this place fixed up and Calvin is more than happy to stay here as long as mom and I need him. We get along really well but he does get on my nerves somethimes and that is when I tell him ok enough is enough. He has seen me get mad and doesn't want to me get mad at him for something stupid that he does, lol.

I want to stay on friendly terms with Doug because of Harlee. There will be times I need a dog sitter and who better than her "daddy", lol.

I won't get my internet service hooked up until after the Aug 1st so I can't post a ny pictures of what we have been doing. But if I happen to remember to take my camera to my daughter's and get on her laptop I will post them.

Well must get a move on, have to pick mom up from airport at 7:30

O.K. here's my Near perfect 16" block.I think it's the best one I've done.

It's about 98* with a heat index of 106*. It's been that way all but 2 days since May 28th.

Sounds like our temps, 101-103 since about early June, and the humidity makes it worse! Wish something would move through soon, to give us cooler temps.

Its a high that has created a bubble over us and it's so strong not even a dry line can break through it. It's bad but has to break at some point in time, may be December before it does LOL!

Kitchen items like pots and pans, utensils and that type thing. Kim and I have never really gone through her stuff and my stuff to reduce it to "our" stuff. Cleaning the cupboards so the new cook top could be installed prompted us to do it now. I mean just how many 1 quart sauce pans (6) can a house use? Timing is perfect as the students are coming back to town and setting up apartments. We just list on freecycle and they either come get it or say no thank you.

Makes a huge mess but atleast we are making progress and most is going to people who appreciate the items.

Sounds like they will be going to good homes!
