Just lovely !!!!

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

So many pretty blooms! I need to get out and tag mine while they are blooming and I can id them!

Wowzer Susie, I have that willow and didn't realize they got that big. I keep chopping mine back because I either planted it in the wrong spot or planted everything around it in the wrong spot....rofl, it likes to drape over everything. I love the white and pink new leaves.

Gironda is sure a pure bright yellow....love that.

(susie) Hastings, MI(Zone 5a)

HAPP: I Have cut this one back every spring & I Believe it loves the hair cut & Just grows faster wish my hair would grow as fast as this Bush dose .

Jaye : Yellow fellow is supose to be LITTLE FELLOW But THAT has to be a seedling next to the little fellow

what is causing the tingling & soreness in my arms So now I Wait to hear from doctor to see what else is next.

JAYE WHEN MY Little fellow Blooms I will post a picture. well you all have a great day back later

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Susie, go see a Chiropractor, sounds like you have a pinched nerve in your neck? I had that a few years ago, I had some acupuncture done, and I don't have the tingling in my hands anymore.

Blue Ridge Mtns, VA(Zone 7a)

Asiatic Lily "Toronto" looks pretty good in the clump, but she's a disappointment when it comes to the blooms withstanding Full Sun with many edges of the petals turning brown within a day or so after blooming.

That's too bad Fruity. Mine did real well. In fact the one that got broken over and I put in a vase, has bloomed in the house! I'm hoping maybe I can replant it, but don't know if I have any of the bulb part on there.

Blue Ridge Mtns, VA(Zone 7a)

On a brighter note, Daylily "Trahlyta" you sent me Susie bloomed today for the first time. Darn it, Tinker's says it's "very fragrant" but I didn't stoop down to take a sniff when I took the pic, but you can bet I will the next time she blooms.

Patti, When I was unpacking another shipment of Lilies yesterday, I broke off a stem poking through the bag and before tossing it in the trash I noticed it had several tiny nubs that I think will produce roots. Anyway, I stuck the piece in a pot and will let you how it does. I've never tried growing from a stem before and if it roots I'm sure it will be more rewarding over time than the Lilies I'm growing from scales.

This one is Daylily "Creature of the Night" bought at a local daylily farm last Fall on sale and was excited today to see it's first bloom.

OOHH I love that one H.R. Fruitinstuff. :))

Pristine Promise is the one here that was fragrant. I also have a double NOID that is fragrant too.

(susie) Hastings, MI(Zone 5a)

the problem with offering my daylilies so many have grown in together & It is hard to know if I;m digging the main plant or the grow next to them or if they are from the seeds that have dropped off & reseeded .
They are just so thick out there this year LOADED WITH Buds Not to many Blooms yet .

Oh so pretty Blooms can hardly wait till mine start to Bloom :)

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

deejay I am having that same problem with my daylilies. I am afraid to say or give away with a name because they are turning into one big line. I didn't even think about them reseeding on their own.

Love the spyder fruity....I walked around and took a bunch of pics last night. It was in the low 70's with a breeze not a bug and just absolutely beautiful out! I actually stayed out until 11pm and if it had been the weekend I might of debated on sleeping on the swing on the porch...just perfect.

I didn't look at the name but thought this was a pretty

Do any of you have this pest? Look at the plant and the rail!!!! Geez! I can't find a repellant to keep the thing away that is legal. It is sometimes known as DH but not right now!!!!

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

For once my procrastination paid off. The lilies are in a pot and I was tempted to plant them there until.....they both bloomed...rofl.

Happ I got a new gun you borrow. :))

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

Uhhhh, I think that borders on illegal...rofl, but you sure made me laugh out loud. Think that would get his attention.....? roflmbo.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Happ, are you talking about the white stuff? Is it aphids?

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

Linda Kay, it is silver spray paint that my husband painted a part and hung it on my rebar fence he made me a million years ago. He even managed to spray the clematis extremely well. I guess if it dies I can use the painted leaves in an indoor arrangement! LOL So far and it has been a week the clematis has taken it into stride. Gotta be tough to survive at my house..... ;)

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

LOL! Goodness, that's funny! Sounds like something mine would do!

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

I just find it amazing that he does that. That corner of the rebar fence has been every color under the sun.....glad it is by the garage beside the old gas pump so most people don't see it. One time he ask after I fell over the fence cause I couldn't get my big feet to clear it (not a tall fence just a short railing thing, I am just a cluts) if I wanted him to take the fence out and I told him no, because he wouldn't have anywhere to paint parts.... ;)

Hello everyone, have been extremely busy pulling out Nandinas, putting down top soil, mulching, watering, super big yard sale here Fri. & Sat. (5 families) even canning green beans. When I finally get my shower it's late and I'm to tired to even think, so most times I crash on the Sofa until 10 then go to bed.
My Daylilys have been beautiful, and so many of them.
Dear sweet Nita, thank you so much for the plastic pots. This Fall, I will send you Angel cuttings in exchange.
LK I have not forgotten your postage, it will be coming soon. LOL, the problem is finding my desk. It is piled up with things I need to do.
Love & Hugs
Faye

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

No postage due Faye.

FLOYD, VA(Zone 6a)

I know about the pile Faye. When it slides on the floor then it's time to do something about it. At least that's the way I handle it. :))

OH MY ...... L O L @happ and the spray paint! Sorry, but it truly is funny!

This is my lily Conca d'or that was blooming when I got home last night. It smelled so heavenly, the fragrence was all in the air! I couldn't stand it being outside for no one to enjoy, so I cut it and brought it in the house. The house smells GREAT!!!! The bloom is larger than my hand and I love the pasel yellow!

Beautiful blooms to wake up too!

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

Oh what pretty blooms! I love the pixie lilies in the front borders they are so darn cute.

Gotta love him Crit cause everything else is illegal....rofl. I am sure now you can understand why I don't let him near the gardens with a mower!

Here is a double, triple whatever daylily, it just blooms and blooms.

(Tammie) Odessa, TX(Zone 7b)

Love all the DL's.. especially the double/triple... mom had something like that bloom the other day.. two little blooms, not quite as nice but they looked like they were sort of doubles. We loved them and were so happy to see them. We are happy to see anything this year.

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

Thank you Tammie, I feel for you guys with no rain.....I can't even imagine. I went with a couple of weeks without rain with high temps and wind and thought everything was going to die.....

Pretty eyed daylily. I have the names to most but I would have to look them up.... ;)

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

We have been months with no rain, and everything is dead. I have Some potted plants that are struggling, but surviving. All the brugs in the front raised beds, have all withered away. :( no matter how much I watered! Think I will make it a rose bed next year.

Henderson, NC(Zone 7b)

Thank you LK. Do I have any plants that you would like? I will even wait until this drought is over to send anything you want. That goes for you too Nita, I will be glad to share anything I have.
Love & hugs
Faye

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Thanks Faye. I have a feeling it is going to be a very warm summer, so I am going to hold off on any more plants this year. Well, that is my intent anyway! LOL! I will wait till next spring, and re-arrange the gardens, and see what imcan come up with.

Anyone heard from Debra? I have not seen her post for more than week now!

Sand Springs (Tulsa), OK(Zone 7a)

happ .... love that double/triple. Very pretty pink one too!

I feel for you so much LK. That must be so terrible to just watch things dry up! I don't have a lot but would be glad to share with you all that have drought or floods when you are able to plant again. Or if you just want to put them in pots

No, I haven't seen Debra posting anywhere. She was having quite a bit of stuff going on, and I don't remember when she was going to her sisters.
