Anyway, I stuck the piece in a pot and will let you how it does. I've never tried growing from a stem before and if it roots I'm sure it will be more rewarding over time than the Lilies I'm growing from scales.

This one is Daylily "Creature of the Night" bought at a local daylily farm last Fall on sale and was excited today to see it's first bloom.
