I have an ant problem too. And. MIL problem. Funny how they both started about the same time.
We hit 86.
Weather in Your Garden # 97
I thought it was an implant
wow looks like a water balloon ... guess ice balloon would be more like it
Thanks, Allison.
More evidence of freaky & dangerous weather, haven't seen any hail here this year, -yet.
70° on the way to 63°, H 81%
Thought it was a silicone boob.
wishful thinking..
Imagine that falling from the sky...sheesh
Did you see the shots of the dirt path the tornado left in Oklahoma? That was weird, guess they have that reddish soil so it was really noticable
60 now, going up to 75. Hope I dry out enough to start getting caught up with my weeds.
55 and showers, cloudy today with a high of 67.
66 degrees and foggy- a welcome relief. Heading out to finish mulching the squash, and get more veggies going- especially greens and herbs...oh, and tons of nasturtiums, have to have those!
Pam
72°, slight breeze from the South at 7 mph, H 81%, hazy sun
Going up to 78° today, dropping to 63° tonight with fog rolling in overnight and into early am.
the wind is kicking up... you know if it starts pouring... I am going out to work!!!
Gross day. 82 and humid.
Finally caved and turned on the a/c.
Yay!
73°, nice cool breeze from the Ocean under the shade, the birds are tweeting in the twees, the butterflies are happy and dancing in the air.. Summer is here!
... and so the hot, burning, relentless SUN. lol!!
86 on one thermometer and 91 on the other. DH installed the air conditioners after I washed the windows. It's breezy outside, but for the moment I'm inside. I'll go out later. So much to do, so little time.
humid here - third day in a row up at 5 and quit at 4 out there -soj stopped by with her hubby for a needed break - i think i lost a pd or two
You lost a pound of two from Song's visit???? LOL What in the world did you guys do???
Yesterday it was warmer here (90) than it was in Florida! Today was a bit better and we went out to buy out a few places for veggies to plant the veggie garden. The black flies won't let me near the outdoors yet. I have welts all over my neck just from doing some watering. I can't wait until these things die out around Fathers Day. We had a very heavy downpour around 4:00 and then it cooled off a bit. Nice now.
I was up at 4:30. Successfully peed. Returned to sleep. Woke at 10. I consider that a very successful day.
Coolish this morning, but in the 70s this afternoon. got some weeding done as did DH. I took pictures of my MTB seedlings. I am really in love with a couple of them. I hope that film isn't off the camera like it was in OK.
DH has not put the window unit A/C in for the summer.I must ack him to do it (he would look like I had 2 heads). But it is supposed to get hot on Mon. Luckily we have enough trees so we have a cool house.
It's 74 and not a breath of a breeze outside. It's supposed to be very warm and humid with clouds and sunshine. Not very pleasant. This spring hasn't been very pleasant. Cool with rain and now hot with humidity. Only one or two nice days I can remember. But there are lots of blooms out there nevertheless.
NASTY out
78° with 75% humidity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! high of 88° expected
It hit 86° yesterday
sunny for a change and78°.
Beautiful day but I've been in the shade and will continue to work in the shade today.
It's 71 going to 75, light breezes off the water - just glorious.
Last night was fantastic for gardening. Only got in close to 9 PM and thought of Allison!
72 degrees here at Jones beach, nice ocean breeze feels like 65, watching the airshow about 200' from the ocean. Using DW's laptop & a point & shoot, will upload a pic or two later when i can use a 'real' computer and resize the pics... (lol!)
funny Jen I think today is better than yesterday... we were out for a long time this morning.. got a lot done & went back in once we were baking
I was up at 4:30. Successfully peed.
Do you have a problem you'd like to share with us so we can send you kind thoughts, Victor???
Not a bad day at all. I got 12 tomatoes in, 4 hills of cukes and 75 green bean plants as well. I'm waiting now for rain because we don't have the hose hooked up yet. It was breezy, so the black flies granted me a reprieve for a short period. We're supposed to have thunderstorms tonight, but it's lovely out now. 80 and partly sunny.
LOL, Louise....I was going to ask Victor the same thing! It was very hot & humid in New Hampshire....Friday was so brutal.....got home this afternoon & put in beans, cukes, & squash....bit of a breeze now, am resisting turning on the a/c.....
Ha ha - no, knock wood! ^_^ Just comparing my successful day to Bill's.
we just had a t-storm roll through. The Tornado watch has expired.
good.. glad you are safe
just had a thunderstorm pass through... at least I don't have to water the newly planted ones.. 71 now going to 89.. news said it's going to feel like 100 with the heat index.. UGH.. always fun on days like this with all the flats I didn't get planted yet
Thunderstorm woke me at 3 am, thought the same thing...no dragging the hose.:)
We are at 69 and cloudy, will give way to sunshine later with highs of 85.
No storms out here. I would have welcomed the chance to sleep a bit more.
