She's about to...61... Spring has sprung!!

Blue Ridge Mtns, VA(Zone 7a)

LOL...want some?

Forgot to say that's the Lily, happ "Suncrest", and it looks antiquey to me too. Maybe when mine grows up it will have an upward growth spurt like yours 0:)

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Thanks. If that's what it is, I will leave it there. Not for sure how it got there? All the seeds I placed in that pot was from the other pot of pink and purple morning glories.
Is it a climber?

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

lobata is beautiful and you will love it. I had a nice weekend, and now I am ready to see my new office at work. They have my putor set up so guess I am going to be all set for work, whoo hoo..

nice peonies, susie, and all the pictures of lillys are gorgeous. here is one of mine, have no clue what they are..

It's my first time growing Lobata, LK. Plant Files says they get 8-10' tall. For a little fun, why don't we compare notes as ours grow and bloom?

Not 100% sure, Debra, since I'm so new to Lilies, but yours reminds me of "Bright Diamond" I just ordered. See what you think. Have a great day tomorrow at work in your new digs :)

thanks, i really don't want to go to work, but since it is going to be a scorcher, guess working in AC isn't so bad..
love the red cones, wish I had some, my lime coconut didn't come back from last year.. hope white swan does..

just a yellow one, but it is a lilly ;D

Love those lilies!
I will post pictures as my lobata grows, and hope I can get some blooms from it! it looks so pretty in the pictures!

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

LK, if you let it get lots of sun and something to climb, the lobata will reward you greatly. I grew some inside in winter and it bloomed it was so cheerful..
mine outside is just now getting going.. can you see it? it is from seeds of my plants last year. I had three kinds, exotic love, jungle queen and mina yellow..

That sounds good, LK. From the looks of your pot, you're going to have blooms out the wazoo.

The Lily addiction is growing here as much as Daylilies. And my new passion this year is trying Calla Lilies.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

I love those calla lillys, but have never grown them.. I am pretty excited about my tall tiger lillys, someone sent me some little black bublets from their plant, I kept them in a damp paper towel in a baggie all winter, opened them up to find they had sprouted, so I planted them, I have three up ot back and three in the other lily bed..
this one is getting moved to the front when I can get a good weekend to move it.

Oh Goodness LK!! Happy Birthday. I need to get on the ball.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Thanks everyone! I am 56 today, and hubby is 18 months younger. He lets me know I am the old lady! LOL!

I have the pot of morning glories in full sun, on an old swing frames, with fishing line strung across it! Sure hope it will fill it in!

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday Dear LK!

Got sunburnt yesterday in the bend of my arms! No where else. I haven't been sunburnt in a million years! Must of worn something different, it was cloudy the majority of the day and didn't notice until last night.

We like you Suzie had a big break in the temps of the weather yesterday, but back up to hot and humid today they are saying.

My suncrest lily has buds but not blooms. That is one of my favorites, course I think I say that about all of them...rofl.
I know I have posted pics of this lily and I love the color, but the bloom is strange it never quite opens up all the way. It has been in bloom forever now but just kind of funny. I have one other that does the same thing.

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

Except I forgot to attach the pic....duhhhhh

Another lily, Robina, (I think that is what the tag said) blooming today. Still no fragrent ones though.

Blue Ridge Mtns, VA(Zone 7a)

None of mine are fragrant yet either. I just keep sniffing hoping a few along the way will be. In the meantime, the different ones that have opened are knocking my socks off whether they're pale or intensely colored. Love the softness of your Robina. Mine hasn't opened yet but from the buds on Elodie & Toronto today, they're 'about to'.

This one is Pale Peach, sort of a fleshy color...you probably sent me the bulb, happ.

back tonight

Sand Springs (Tulsa), OK(Zone 7a)

My Toronto has already bloomed. I have several more showing color on the buds, so it shouldn't be too much longer yet. They are so pretty! I know I purchased some fragrent ones, just waiting on them.

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

None of my smelly ones are open yet either Crit.

Fruity, I don't remember that lily, but if it is peach I probably sent it...rofl. Somehow am attracted to peachy colors. Not all of my lilies are open yet, but I kept all the bags so I will look and see if I have a bag to match the lily....just call me the bag lady of lilies....
Those callas are beautiful. So far I have only had one giant calla lily bloom and it has been blooming for a long long time. It has even managed to with stand the winds. I use to have some different callas but now that I think about it, I wonder where they went?

Crit that is a pretty one, when I see the pale lilies, I think ohhh I love that pale color, then I see the bright ones and I say, ohhh I love the bright ones....rofl. love the one your with... ;)

Oh deejay, you are way far blooming different than us.....I guess our heat waves (which for me have subsided some) haven't hit you.....

FLOYD, VA(Zone 6a)

Fruit Loop are those your callas??? I'm so jealous!! These opened while I was out this morning.

The yellow are "Golden", the other ones don't seem to have the tag (imagine that) and the right hand picture is my tree hibiscus.
