How about that? I'll have to get you my cell # and maybe we can meet. If you like....
No, I don't sell anything at the Buggy Days but love walking through the craft areas getting ideas...

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Wow, glad to hear all is well with her. Poor thing, so young to be going through surgery.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Hello Ladies,
First of all just want to tell you "THANK YOU" so much for all the birthday greetings. Doug took me out to dinner at an old cat house, lol. Yup it is a bar and grill now called Silver Dollar Saloon. Very popular in Marysville. The food is great. We had Prime Rib, with baked potatoe, sauted veggies, garlic bread, and I had the salad bar. I love salads in the spring and summer. Doug had told the waitress that it was my b-day...she brought me out a huge piece of cheese cake with whipped creme, chocolate syrup and strawberry syrup. She put 2 spoons but Doug still didn't eat much of it. We were going to stay for dancing but I was so full I was miserable, lol ^_^. But I had a great time Thursday and Friday. Been awhile since I celebrated my b-day. Today is my brother's b-day, we are 6 years apart him older. Mom and I are going to visit him tomorrow.

LK!!! love that joke have to share it with some ppl. LOL

Aw Deb, your Haley is so cute!! Bless her little heart for surviving that surgery. When she gets older she can do a Reba and say "I'm a Survivor"!!!!

Who has seen that cute video of kitten and Momma. Ohhhhh it melts your heart!!

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

So glad you had so much fun Cindy ,you definitely deserve it !!!!!!!!!

Debbie ,Haley is so Perfect she looks like a doll baby , not one flaw !!!!!

Jaye ,no I haven't decided what color to paint the tray yet............

Well I am officially a Cherry ...It was 80* today and full of sun,so Rick and I and another couple rode the bikes to the Bikers Memorial Wall Re-dedication Festival and on my winter virgin skin ,but it will tan in a day or 2. Just right now have that raccoon look from my sunglasses ...LOL. Had an Awesome time !!!!!!

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

(Pegi) Norwalk, CA(Zone 10b)

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Good day today!! My son came over and worked on the water faucet in the front yard. Now I don't have to "scoop" dirt away to turn it on. He raised and clamped to a nice sturdy post!! Oh my what a nice change.

Hope all are having a wonderful weekend.

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

That is a very good thing. Maybe not bend over so far either...

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

Much better for the eye too.... That's wonderful Marion.
I just had a phone call from Judy and she is in NH!!!! She said to pass on a hello from her and to send armwraps....We will be meeting tomorrow morning. Can't wait!!!!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Barb, you are in for a treat! Judy is tons of fun...we meet a couple years ago at a get together in Texas. Give her a hug for me please.

I don't have a clue what was in the previous owner's mind when he put the faucet out front...convenience certainly didn't enter into the decision. It was really only about 2" clearance between the dirt and the knob to turn it on. Sure can't miss it now!!!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Marion, that sounds nice to have your faucet elevated for easy use! It sure was nice of your son to raise it for you!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Good to know you had a good private birthday bash with Doug, Cindy. May you get to celebrate many, many happy ones.

Oh dear, Synda. Take some aspirin or Tylenol, you might get a fever from all that 'cherriness'!!!

Ain't that amazing? The possibility of Charleen and Deborah meeting?
Two plant lovers won't be lost for words!!
Deborah you'll get to meet Charley. I'm envious.

Sue, at least you get to spend 2 hrs. Would be a disappointing event if by the time you get there, only the hostess was left. Did you manage to find homes for the kitties? Yay on the sales!

Oh Barb, I'm so upset that all plans of going to Judy's Gathering looks bleak as of now.
Marion's right, Judy's a hoot! You will never forget her, once you're in her company. Please, please, tight armwraps from me.
And we expect pictures!!!

Marion, 2" clearance?? The previous owner must not be a practical man!!! Of course dirt build up will just render the faucet inconvenient!! Thank Charles for us please for taking his time to 'resurrect' the faucet.

It's in the 90s today.. sending some to Cindy :D
I'm sure LK will be facing at least 103.
LK, please keep yourself cool. Can't stress how important it is to use a hat when you go outside too! I'm learning the hard way. And a cold towel around your neck.

Give Judy hugs from me too. Love her to death that girl.
had 3 customers today !
yes Jaye the two hrs were very good ! but i hope next year i can team up with Cookie and make an weekend of it.
i m sad i am not able to make it to Judys this year :(

Oh Sis, sorry to say, but you can have my share too! I just can't get those things to my lips.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

I want some, Sis!!! It's been years since I boiled sacks of crawfish!
They look so goooood!!

LK, just think of them as mini lobsters! Ooops, you don't eat seafood do ya?

Weather's looking towards another blistering hot day. Got to go out there and trim the flowering quince down to almost bare ::(
Didn't know they sent out runners that would overtake the Asiatic Lily bed if I let them.
Later heading to town to get food for the pantry.
Feel like a Sonic's hot dog today!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Oh send me a cuke please. Love those things and the ones in the stores are just not worth paying for. Yesterdays feast looks great but alas it bet it to hot for my mouth. Enjoy.....errrr looks like you were. LOL

I must have been really tired from weeding the front bed to get it ready for rearranging and planting. I didn't wake up until 10 am. That is a surprise since I have been getting up much, much earlier since coming home.

Plan to finish the bed today and just enjoy the results.

Have a great all and be safe.

Thank you soldiers who and where ever you are.

(Pegi) Norwalk, CA(Zone 10b)

Look at all the veggies, I'm still waiting for squash and tomatoes. Have to go out and check to see if I have any babies yet. I have some patty pan squash this year, the ones that look like flying saucers. Just going to need more room.

oh i just can't suck on a eyeballs ? its a squishy thing for me but the rest of the body i will take it
kittys are doing good. thought we may have lost one but he is doing much better.
got some jalepono's out in garden with some marigolds
next is tomatos ? maybe
hot one today

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Sending some flowers to everyone. This is Invincabelle (I think that is the way it is spelled...need to check)and Diamond Frost

Thumbnail by abbisgranma
(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Marion, those are beautiful! What are they please?

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Diamond Frost looks like a hydranga

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

OH She is gorgeous Deb!!!! Wow, I've heard of that but have never known anyone who has experienced it, glad she's doing ok!

Cindy That sounds fun! Sounds like a place I'd like to go to!

Look at all those delicious veggies! YUM!! Crawdads!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

The ones in the front with the pinkish tinge is a hydrangea Invinciblle Spirit and the white in the background is Silver Fog Euphorbia ....Diamond Frost it is commonly referred to. The hydrangea is not suppose to be effected by the soil so I am hoping it will remain the color in the picture. Time will tell.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Ok Ladies,
Once again I need help. My brain is dead. I can find anywhere to get instructions on how to make one of these (one on right). I went to the forums but have no clue where to look

Thumbnail by purpbutfly

well i just lost my temper at the kids.... *sigh* i mean i really lost it !
then after i cooled down ,, i decided to go get some dinner at KFC.... well kittys go with us.... kittys went poop all over the cage !
so much for dinner....
tonight is cereal and no one told me their was no more milk !!
you would think a 20 yr old could give you some input on this stuff.... apparently not....
sorry to vent... *sigh* i m just so tired
tomorrow is the funeral for our auntie and i have no clothes... ? unless i wear a jogging suit LOLLLL .... and flip flops ? :P
ok i promise to be good tomorrow.
hugs to you all

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Sorry to hear your having a bad day. Passing you the Bailey's!

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

todays ic

Thumbnail by jordankittyjo
TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Morning everyone,
sorry Sue your day went nuts yesterday.
Kel does the same thing to me. Last roll of toilet paper, and he won't tell me. Fortunately it's always him that's stuck with no paper. Plenty of times, he had to wipe his ***S with an old sock.
Me.. plenty of Kleenex around the house.
What's more irritating is he always leave a thimbleful of milk in the jug, or a tbsp of leftovers. Why won't he just finish off the rest? Said he had enough, stomach don't need more. Thank you Mr. for being soooo thoughtful!!

Thank you Synda for helping out our Cindy there. Brains are still resting from yesterday!

Marion, wouldn't it be lover-ly if your garden is themed around hydrangeas? That would make a statement in your neighbourhood for sure!!
Too many azaleas dominate neighbourhoods here. Just one or two hydrangeas, and those mopheads are certainly beautiful to look at.

No coffee today, LK. I'll take the Bailey's on rocks!!
Let me be chillin' in de hoose. (like Kel's stepdaughter would say)
Just came in from hades. Too hot for even the coals to be comfy!!!
Feels like 105. If I'm getting 3 digits, LK, I hope it's only me.
Hope you are getting some relief this time.

Lovely rose Sis. How many roses do you have now?
Poor you, having to start a garden all over again, but at least you can plan better now.

So, how did your Memorial Day went yesterday?
Crissy, did you go to Memphis and celebrate?
I'm sure Pegi went for the sales.
I should as my fabric store offer 25 percent off on everything, but too tired to fight the heat and crowd.
Charleen, Cookie.. did y'all bbq?

Off to start on my fur baby caregiving chores :D

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

No big plans here, it was just Todd and I, so we sat in the cool house. Only supposed to be 95 today! But our humidity is at 75%!!!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Smart thinking LK.
Kids would have screamed to be out in the sun, but us old people got to stay cool and rest more!!

Thank you all so much for praying for me and Kel. Finances should be slowly gearing back to normal.. praise Jesus... as Kel had his first paycheck.

Please include Susan in your prayers, as she's under too much stress since Bob's not working.
