Jaye, sorry to hear your not feeling well! Get lots of rest today please?
When my son pulled into Joplin, and they got out of the truck, he said the smell of death was everywhere! So much destruction every where! So many prayers are needed, for those still missing.
§ Sweet Interruptions § 218
Jaye, those ac hes are telling you bad weather is on the way but maybe it will be only rain. I hope and pray. There is always someone near by Deborah, so don't give up!!! And saying prayers too!
Thank you! You live where my oldest son lives. Small world.
Deborah
OH MY GOSH! Look who just came back to join us! Deborah, welcome back girl. We have missed you so much! How are you doing? Glad to hear your son will be getting his college degree!
Welcome back Sis Deborah!!! The door is always open!!!
You need to share pictures of your darling grandbabies. They must have grown so much!
How old is Riley now?
We all worry when sistahs go missing, but in your case, it's KNOWN that you have your hands full with your little ones and errr, baseball! :D
I'll certainly add your son to our prayers that he stays in college.
It's not easy, but with the support he gets from you, he'll pull through the 3 years.
How's your garden by the way?
Charleen, I'm hoping for rain too here. Don't feel like being in the heat at all.
LK, think I'm feeling weak due to the 2 back to back illnesses.
And then I went Happy Weeding in the heat.
I am sure there must be tears shed everywhere when looking at the news of how grief stricken some survivors were in Joplin,
I cannot fathom the smell of death.. and don't wish to ever experience that.
Joe is certainly a remarkable man for doing the right thing.
God keeps Joe and his Church brethren safe in this awesome mission.
Our govt. is sending 40billion $$$ to countries that hate us, and right in our own states, that money can help rebuild lives.
Hey back to yall Jaye and LInda Faye and Charleen. Did I get that right? Charleen. I'm so bad with names but once I get then stuck in my mind they are there.
The Joplin Mo disaster just made my heart drop for all those people. Prayers going out for Linda Faye's son helping out such a need.
You are right Jay. govt calls it good will. Humpth!
So sorry. its Linda Kay.. my bad ☻

Wow, This morning i was invited to Ryans Graduation! lol, not too last minute.
He was so cute, paced the floor behind me, finally said I'm graduating today, will you come?
Brought tears to my eyes, so how could I say no? Even called Breenie out of class, so she can see too.
A beautiful celebration. Tonight, we are having a small bbq! lol uh haven't told DH yet, ROFLOL, i figure we have to eat so why not have company to celebrate.
I am packed, just a few things to add of Steve's, but I don't pick what he should wear...lol.

Oh my, my favorite coffee drinking buddy has surfaced!!!! I can't pass a McDonalds with out thinking of you Deborah. It is so good seeing you post!!!!!!!!! NOW bring us all up to date about those grandbabies and what you have been doing in addition. BTW, had my coffee (mocha) on the way home from "The" play at school. It was the youngest GD's graduation to a big 1st grade and Kim and I were commanded to go. LOL Of course, we had lunch out to celebrate the day.
Poured rain in Tally but it looks as though it passed us by completely. Bummer.
Jaye, please, please take care of yourself.
Judy, a huge arm wrap to Barb for me if you will please. Enjoy the tripl
Cindy, happy birthday. Today would have been my Dad's birthday....116 but alas he passed at 86.
Planning a quiet weekend here.
>b>Crawfish!! Oh sis Kathy, don't tease me!! I'd love to get a sack but no crawfish ponds around here :(
Sistah Judy, you are so generous with all that knows you. Your heart is sincere and your caring nature shows.
Giving Ryan a graduation BBQ will certainly be etched in his memory forever.
That's a pretty lake, Cindy. I hope you'll call one of us, the minute you have those implants!!!
I'm excited for you too!
Synda, you're one lucky lady. Those are beautiful. And Betty is one that can't stop giving!
Thought I could quietly cut fabric, but I had a visitor.
My church sister came over and we walked through my 'jungle'. You know how that goes... there were plants she pointed out that she wanted a cutting or seeds!!

Hi Deborah!!! I remember you, so glad to see you back!!!
I don't remember what I just read.
Judy lol aren't kids funny! Glad you got to have the bbq and he invited you to his graduation, that's awesome!!
Sue bummer about the drizzle, it's sunny and hot here, I'll send some up your way, maybe you can get some customers. I got to get ready for a RU next weekend, sounds like work here!
oH, ru'S are so much fun! Have a blast Sue.
Waving to all my sistas! Marion, I stop at McDonalds to get a Frappe every day after exercising. Wonder how many calories I put back on from the 100 I just burned off at exercise? LOL Those drinks remind me of our time together. Won't stop getting them no matter how many calories they are.
Kathy, do you still have your chickens at your house? I missed you too. Do you still live in the same house? Call me some time.
I sewed a ton of burp cloths, several bibs and a lap quilt that I use to change diapers on. It didn't turn out to well though. It pukered on one end so I kept it for me to have when I babysit. Jaye and Linda Kay and all you sistas, I can't tell yall how much I appreciate the sewing machine yall sent me. Oh I forgot, I made an apron that I actually am proud to put on. I'm procrastinating making Halley some summer sundresses. A lady made her several and they looked easy enough. It's just getting motivated enough to get started.
Synda sounds like you hit the jack pot! You go girl!
Cookie, how is your gardens. I love the walkway design (from memory of seeing earlier pictures.)
Jaye says:
You two should be able to meet, one day and exchange butterfly ideas!
Chrissy, thank you for the welcome back. I'm glad to be back talking with all of you. Maybe not as much as before but at least I'll try popping in once or twice a day when possible.
Judy, what do you mean about borrowing Julie's lap top? Your computer down? I need to call you soon to see what you've done more to your back yard.
As for me, I'm trying to lose some weight. My back and knees are killing me. So I'm trying to count calaries, going to exercise every morning and walking on my tread mill on any day I miss exercise. My gardens have endured a two year neglect. I go out some days and pull and chop a cart full of weeds. When all that is done maybe I'll put down more pine straw. Maybe. Yesterday I dug up some day lilies from around the pond and transplanted them in the beds next to the house. I'll have Halley overnight tomorrow and Monday. Halley is 9 months and Riley is 26 months. Both are too energetic for this old back and knees. :LOL
Deborah, you have had another Grandbaby since we last heard from you! Congrats on Halley! Pictures please?
I don't know how to load up pictures on Larry's computer. When he gets back I'll get him to show me how and I promise pictures it is.
Good morning everyone!! .......it is a wonderful mornin' when Deborah is with us again. You are soooooooooo right about the McDonalds'...bonded through coffee. LOL Did you know Kris has/is moving?
I just found recently. Maybe some of the others who know more than I do can fill you in.
Now if Phyllis and BJ would just pop in more often......and Tinky!!!
We have a brand new Hobby Lobby who opened yesterday so Kim and I think we might "fight" the crowds and go check it out. If I don't post in a couple of days, someone send a search party.
Q: Doctor, I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life. Is this true?
A: Your heart only good for so many beats, and that it... Don't waste on exercise. Everything wear out eventually. Speeding up heart not make you live longer; it like saying you extend life of car by driving faster. Want to live longer? Take nap.
Q: Should I reduce my alcohol intake?
A: No, not at all. Wine made from fruit. Brandy is distilled wine, that mean they take water out of fruity bit so you get even more of goodness that way. Beer also made of grain. Bottom up!
Q: How can I calculate my body/fat ratio?
A: Well, if you have body and you have fat, your ratio one to one. If you have two bodies, your ratio two to one, etc.
Q: What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular exercise program?
A: Can't think of single one, sorry. My philosophy is: No pain...good!
Q: Aren't fried foods bad for you?
A: YOU NOT LISTENING! Food are fried these day in vegetable oil. In fact, they permeated by it. How could getting more vegetable be bad for you?!?
Q: Will sit-ups help prevent me from getting a little soft around the middle?
A: Definitely not! When you exercise muscle, it get bigger. You should only be doing sit-up if you want bigger stomach.
Q: Is chocolate bad for me?
A: Are you crazy?!? HEL-LO-O!! Cocoa bean! Another vegetable! It best feel-good food around!
Q: Is swimming good for your figure?
A: If swimming good for your figure, explain whale to me..
Q: Is getting in shape important for my lifestyle?
A: Hey! 'Round' is shape!
Well... I hope this has cleared up any misconceptions you may have had about food and diets.
REMEMBER:
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"
IN SUMMARY:
For those of you who watch what you eat, here's the final word on nutrition and health. It's a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting nutritional studies.
1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
3. The Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
4. The Italians drink a lot of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
5. The Germans drink a lot of beer and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
CONCLUSION:
Eat and drink what you like. Speaking English is apparently what kills you.
ROTFLOL!
LK, going to print up that article and take it to my doctor. Had another one here about growing old, but do you think I can find it!!! I have to remember not to put things in a safe place because I don't know where that is myself.
Hey there.. got a few minutes to spare before I hit town.
LK>>> THAT'S A HOOT!! The most logical advice for us here!!! Errr...... jangan cakap English..
Gonna quit speaking English asap!!
((((((Debbie))))) a 2 day visit with us is like hitting jackpot for me!!!
You'll soon find out that the situation with Crissy not remembering what she just read is very catching!
Take LK's advice on diet, and you'll be much happier!! LOL.
It's been a 2 year leave for me too when it comes to my garden. Just started recognising the daylilies!
Waiting patiently for grandkids' pictures.
Crissy, Sue, have fun at the RU. Take lots of pictures and tell us who's who.
Crissy, which RU are you going to?
Lucky you Marion.. or is it unlucky? Hobby Lobby is wayy better than Michael's. Wish they'd open a HL at the beach, or even a Joann's. Spend lots for us please :D
Synda, have you decided on the color of your serving tray?
Have a terrific Memorial Day weekend everyone!! Be safe on the roads.
Pegi, great minds think alike!
You would just have to frame that paper, and hang it in the bathroom. This way you'll be reminded everyday!!!
deb, she is so sweet!
Awe, she is so precious! Thanks for posting them. You must be so proud of them!
Awww.. I had to take a closer look at Halley. She's a living baby doll!!
Too precious.
She looks like a little doll. I make butterflies from polyclay and have wooden ones hanging from trees. It would be wonderful to meet you Deborah. Never Know, we are in the same state. 75 runs your way!!!!!☺☺
You girls are about an hour and a half from each other.
You're exactly right Linda Kay. Charleen, I go to Barnesville often during baseball season. May even go this summer a good bit. Riley and her mama and daddy live in Milner in the country.
What a neat hobby! Do you sell them at Buggy Days?.
Thanks for the doll complments on Haley. She is a living doll. I'm still trying to find pictures of Riley. post soon.
Haley was born with gastrocnisis (sp) Her intestines were growing on the outside of her body. She had surgary the day she was born. Everthing was stuffed back through her navel and she's good as new. She was in the hospital for 3 1/2 weeks.
