Had a touch on intestinal virus yesterday, but I think it's more from getting a little sunstroke when I was in the yard, Friday.

I'll say it again, Synda, Lightening is sooo pretty.

Oh please pass the coffee this way..cream and sugar or equal if you don't mind. We got up early for a doctor's appointment for Kim. Just as we were starting to leave the phone rang and it was cancelled..bummer so now I can have my second cup!!! Ah, I sure do need it.

Prayers for all the people effected by the tornadoes and flooding. This weather pattern is unbelievable..hope it isn't an indication of hurricane season and what might be coming. We need the rain really bad but not the problems associated with it.

Charles came over early yesterday morning and helped me plant 4 of my hydrangeas, move some pots I am not allowed to lift yet and a few other simple things. Was a good visit with him and makes me so happy he likes yard work. We just differ on designs....he likes clean straight lines, I am a curvy person. No pun intended. LOL

Sue, be careful in this weather. I love hydrangea too...guess that is obvious. I am taking out the gardenias across the front of the porch (they just aren't thriving) and replacing them with Fuji/
fiji Waterfalls. The spelling is in question as I have found them spelled both ways. They are white but the blooms have a very pale pinkish stem which really adds to the plant.

Going to go sit on the deck and enjoy my coffee.

Having nice sunny days, still on the cool side which gives me more time to play around. My squash plants are so big, a couple blossoms, but going to have to figure out what to use to hold them up as they are trailing out of the raised bed. Tomato plants are growing so big and also have blossoms on them. Could use some of that rain everyone is having. Sorry to hear it is making such a mess for everyone.

Now that DH is feeling good I hope he can get to the projects he keeps saying he is going to finish up. I need more planting space!

Judy, Judy, Judy!!! great job on jacket and your daughter is beautiful. I'm still bummed that we will not be able to make the trip :( Told Doug of all the Sistah reunions this is the one I most wanted to attend. Next year is out for sure, no way I am traveling to Canada.

LK, what happened with your hand? My right hand is healing good, I'm able to do all the things I couldn't do with out pain, (painting, beading, gardening etc.) But now my left hand is really hurting so I will be having surgery on that after summer is past.

Doug and I are getting along really well. We have been doing a lot of work around this house trying to make it a HOME instead of a storage unit, lol. One bedroom is packed with his grandma's junk. And junk it is. She used to bid on storage units. OMG some of the junk. Nobody will buy this stuff it is so outdated. I told Doug let's take it to the dump, but.......................his mom and brother are hoarders they will NOT part with anything.

We have also been out riding alot. Here is a pic of me after a days riding. We rode for so long both our tailbones were numb, lol. And as you can see I have gained back all that weight I lost. But I am back into Curves and our club has new hours 4:30 am to 10:00 pm everyday including holidays. We were giving key pad numbers so that we can go when the instructors are not there. How cool is that ^_^

Now I need help...................I am looking for Lightening bolt print material. Do any of you know where I can find some?? If not I am going to have to paint some black material with lightening bolts then cut out skull cap. A biker lady friend loves lightening bolts and her nick name is Thunderbolt, lol.

My hand is doing OK. Dr says the bones are healed, and there is no tendon or ligament damage. So I just need to take my time, and do stretching movememtns, to get it to move properly. Dr. said it can take up to a year, for the swelling to go down, and get full movement back!

I use coupons, but only for what I need. The stores here don't even do double coupons!

One went dumpster diving.. one stole newspapers off driveways in front of foreclosures!!
ALL print out coupons and have more than 2 pcs to do multi couponing. Coupon makers place a limit on the printouts per ISP!!
They put in an average of 30 to 40 hours per week to organize those coupons. That's a regular day job, to me!
Tonight a repeat starts at 10 on TLC.

Still don't see how they can turn a 30 cent coupon into something free? I'll try to catch it one of these days!

Who has the iced tea? Been working outside and I just can't handle the humidity any more. Was putting soaker hose in the new hydrangea area but didn't think sweat dripping in my new eye was needed just yet. Maybe tonight when it cools off a little I can finish that area.

Off to find something constructive to do in the house. Well actually, it is deciding just what I want to do.....plenty of things to be done.

I made one of those neckbands that has the moisture crystals in it. by George, I believe it works. I like it. first one I made.
I wear a headband too. Can't stand sweat burning my eyeballs. OUCH!!!!
