Crissy, a former resident from our town lived inJoplin...and her hubby was killed, she had a nearly severed ankle ....lost everything, including her job as it was demolished also. Said that her sister drove to help her....and they went over to see the house. Everything was lost...BUT her dog Max, who came running from somewhere nearby. So very sad.

Debbie - I'm sure they'll keep me on, with a raise, but I'm sooooooo "the worrier" because right now it's only me that's working, so..........
I'll find out on the 6th, or hopefully earlier......?!?!?!

Morning all, another rainy day in paradise..rain, rain and more rain! Many are going to suffer from cabin fever...

Trip sure tired me out, sleeping in so on the run but have all day to gab with you all when I get to work.

Did take a couple of photo's for you as I so enjoy the ones that you all have been posting..no flowers yet but loads of greenery.

Yay, I spoke with Barb yesterday, lol I think we both were tripping over words with such excitement and anticipation.
Betty, LOL talk about exciting, I heard of Barbs itinerary for Canada...Too cool you all will be meeting, DI know you just love to travel and visit with DG friends and isn't it incredible Barb to bounce around Canada and meet her friends there...I am excited for that trip too.
For now, The weekend is finally here and She and I will meet in just a few more days! Feels like months of waiting, oh but it has been, lol.

My table is overloaded with stuff I need to take, lol better scale it down some...

The excitement is just bursting here that in less than a week I will get to meet Judy. I'm so thrilled about it. We were truly tripping over our words on the phone. We both just have so much to say about things to do and see. New England is really pretty this time of year. Our flowers are FINALLY starting to bloom and things look so nice.
Norm had his two year PET scan yesterday and I am thrilled to report that the oncolgist thinks he is still clean. Of course we have to wait for the radiologist's report for that to be official but we are so hopeful....I'm so grateful to all of you for your prayers these past three years. You have no conception of what they meant to us.

NOW I need to get my house clean!!!! I've been goofing off these past couple of weeks and now that I can open the windows in comes all the pollen to rest on top of the dust!!!! I have dust lions here now so I'm off to hunt them down. Have a great day all.

Barb, sounds like good news re Norm, will tell Ann, she was asking last night?? She wanted to know if your travelling plans were still a go,said as of right now, yes they were..do you have specific dates as to who you will be meeting up with yet? Will book some days off if not on a weekend.. got some dust bunnies as well..thought maybe they like rain and would go play outside but NOT!

Judy, so can hear the excitement in your post. Do you leave today..you are driving? why did I think you were flying and then renting a vehicle.that's quite a ride, how many hours? you'll be close to my border..another day to spare???? Glad you'll have laptop and be able to keep in touch.

Here's a photo of one of the 3 shrubs I picked up yesterday..now to read up and decide where to put it..looks like a 2' plant right now but understand it can grow up to 6' so don't want to put it where I have to later disturb it by transplanting..

This morning travelling on the back concession I eyed a couple of pretty pine trees, perfect shape, guess it will be an early morning tomorrow..will have to be back for 7:45 am for church plant sale...just got to hide the neighbors..
