Best/Worse/What did I learn today-chat with friends!

Pain is still under control with the block....however..no use in right arm at all...and hand is miniamal so typing is hit or miss. I appologize ahead of time for it too tireing to go back and recorrect.

Tomorrow get some of the sutures removed....and start PT. Had a problem trying to do thing s on my own and got stuck in my shirt.over my head and DH had to come rescue me. My arm feels so very very heavy, no control at all...can't lift it....just hangs.

Vicodin leaves me woozey...but thats oK for now.

Dave's dad lives here. He went to CA to watch his ex-wife pass away I guess, neither one of us could figure out why he went. That whole family thing is over, thank the Lord!!

It's confusing Betty, what's really confusing is Dave's dad's dad wasn't really his dad, he was a stepdad so none of them should have the family name Ramsey, their last name should be Todd as that's their blood line.

Well I ate lunch and went to Target and got some Tums, when I came out there were two women screaming at each other in the middle of the parking lot! It was the funniest thing I have seen in quite a while!

No fever LindaKay, think black flies or spider attached my forehead..big lump...lots of white stuff coming out and itchy as heck..pharmacist gave me something to put on my forehead but wanted to give me some meds, said don't drive when taking..told him to keep it..took the salve but I'm not about not to drive..how would I get to where I'm going!

I could only understand the last two words, "Stupid B......" LOL!!

Just got back from the funeral home, Ann and the girls are coping as best they can! Have to take photo of the memory card to show you..handsome man he'll be missed..Darlene ordered the flowers from she and I, Ann couldn't get over the large live basket for her to take home. Greg and Melanie came, that was nice to see..even after all these years of losing a father Greg broke down when talking to the girls, memories come back to the surface during times like these.

Had some chores to do tonight, had a list of 'to do's but see my little elf was here today and all is done..Don't know what I'd do without the friendship of Cathy, I've got the best friends in entire world!!!

That being said, I'll take a ride to the grocery store and pick up fruit for Cathy, maybe some treats..wouldn't be going if I didn't have someone like her to sat and sit the furies!!

Most lkely go to bed early, long day tomorrow..funeral, work and tr to make it as far as Cleveland..say a little prayer Paul sends us on our way early!!

I'm so excited we're driving out tomorrow at 8am... I can't get to sleep ! The Teens want to "drive" on their own... we couldn't think of any reasons why not......

1) A good experience for them to.... they are 19,18,17 and Sure to be taking the "Spring Break" trek to FL some year soon
2) We told them THEY pay for gas if they are taking their own car
3) we can watch how responsible they are and will be Right ahead of them......

Oh so many reasons "for" and "against" this but we've told them okay... so here we go......

To Betty and Mary safe trips. Mary I would be so nervous but how else do they get the experience .

Morning all, raining outside, had 6 pls of seed so thought it a food time to plant them..neighbors must shake their heads, old lady, soaken wet working in the gardens at 5:30 am!!

Diggerent greens are just spectacular..cherry tree in bloom..planted it 2 years ago and it loves where it's planted..so very peaceful, birds are chirping like cracy.

Lode in my seed gardening binder and see I've about a dozen packets of poppies sent to me by one of Canadian dg friends who runs a store called Seed Basket so might go plant them shortly, perfect weather, daily mixture of rain and sun..
Iceland poppy, venue poppy, purple lilac poppy,white cloud and many other varieties..cool!

Linda just called, for about a week I email her and tell her how many sleeps until we leave, she had to call and say 'no more sleeps'! Lol
My 2 Sil' are great to travel with, except they never sleep lol. Know I'll have lots of laughs

Mary great experience for the kids, make them feel like grownups and trused by you and dh..sure they can't get into mischief with you nearby! Enjoy your trip..dip those toes in the ocean for me!

Bev, sorry to hear that Scotty is not doing so well..it's been a long haul for I'm, terribly I'll for years...sending you both hugs and prayers always said on your behalf.

Omg Suzanne was on her way to work, her hubby who is a truck driver had her call me, he wanted to know why we weren't taking the most direct route, why not cross at Erie, etc.etc.etc. Didn't want to be rude, just said we were not trucking and needed to save time, we were on an adventure and where we land, what we see is all the fun of it..men should not worry so much!! Thank the Lord he doesn't come on a trip with me or I'd really be in trouble right Crissy and Debbie? Sooo laughing

Everything is in order in the house, outside as well, bags at the door but canT leave until nearing 10:30 at which time I leave for funeral!

Back from the funeral, if you can say a funeral was nice, then Mike had a wonderful funeral...he loved playing h ocket, the entire team was there..also Harold McIntyre , friend of ours who is often entertaining on the road, was nice to see both him and his wife Juliette..Ann and I hugged for what seemed an eternity..she was giving me hugs for all of you!

had hoped Paul would say leave early, called twice, said have a nice trip but no mention to 'leave early'!! means a late night.

About 10:00 a.m. sun came out and got quite muggy, clouding over now..not good!

Lenny, Suzanne's husband called me again with regards to a better driving plan, more direct route..had to say 'hey guy, some thing we want to see were going 100miles out of our way..it's ok' so put him on my ipad and said we'd keep in contact..lol

just typed 'lol' someone this morning was talking about old people being on internet, said his mother thought lol meant "lots of love" so when her brother died she e-mailed her sister and said 'Dan died..lol'

Laura, good luck with the gourd birdhouses..I've still quite a few, paint yours and we'll do show and tell, that way I can steal ideas..
