big fluffy flakes falling right now
Today's Weather in your Garden - 85
wood stove has been blasting for hours and barely keeping up... this is the first night I can say we have had it that way
We got about 2 inches in an hour.
Do they ever close the schools up there, Deb? Can't imagine. We make such a big deal out of snow down here. They predict two inches and people make a run on the store like they'll be trapped for months!
Not too often, but it's been awhile since I had to pay attention. That's one of the first things David told me is they make such a big deal there.
38 and no snow, yet. Patti
Snowed almost all day here. More snow today than yesterday.
WC, love the cardinal shot!
28 here but still dark.....was snowing when I went to bed and I heard the plow go by but not sure how much we got.
A punk rock bunny! Very cool! - No appetite either, practical too! (lol!)
30° wind from the WNW at 15 mph with a windchill of 18°, humidity steady at 51% and we have clear skies overhead on this beautiful, sunny Sunday morning!
- Got a dusting of snow overnight, (about ½"), just enough to keep me spreading those little hot salt pellets on the driveway so I don't slip and break my 'you know what..' Going to stay breezy & clear all day into tonight with a low tonight expected at 20° and a windchill of 7°. Brrrr! - but at least the sun is out! lol!
- (Thanks Bill & Pixie! ☺)
Love the bunny!!
A cold 19 degrees in WNY with partly cloudy skies. Or is that partly sunny. That sounds better. :)
Have a blessed and super Sunday, folks.
Cool cardinal pic, WC!
Windy today. Sunny and 30.
Cardinals make the winter bearable! Hit 32 here today, but the sun's rays are getting stronger.....turned off the heat in the car. The bunny is very handsome.
felt colder out today than yesterday - could only manage a couple hours outside today - this head cold is taking a toll
Feel better, Bill.
5 PM and still some light! Getting better.
Whoa - you guys up north may be in for it!

Not very happy to hear that....am hoping it tracks farther south.....amazing what it's doing in the South.....
Not good as we have to be in Boston on Tue for Medical stuff, but this time it isn't me, DH and then we were going to go to Vt on Tue night so he can ski. We shall see. Patti
I hope it misses us :( It's 25 now and NOT snowing.
Looks like another storm heading to the northeast. Would not mind if it decided to go east over the ocean but does not look like that right now. They are not enjoying it down south in areas like Atlanta either I guess.
Another cold start here this morning with a brisk NW wind. Sun just showing itself and the skies should be clear most of the day. Present temp is 20 degrees but with the wind it feels around 7-10 degrees colder. Bundle up folks.
24, clear and very windy.
Storm starts tomorrow evening.
24° here windchill at 9°, winds from the WNW at 16 mph, humidity steady at 57% and it's sunny with clear skies.
Sunny and windy here, gusts up to 20 mph so far, today's high expected at 30° with a windchill of 17°. Remaining clear into tonight with a low of 16°
would love to have some snow here now that i think i have relocated enough rock for projects this year!
sick day at home today - do not feel that bad right now, could be all the coffee - did not sleep much last night with the irritating post nasal drip and hacking
Good morning.
Beautiful sunshine is streaming through our windows here in WNY. Looks so nice, you would never know it is just 16 degrees outside. Some snow expected for today, and about 6 inches for tomorrow. They are predicting we will be in the path of that storm coming to the NE.
Have a blessed and marvelous Monday, folks. :)
Cold and windy out. 88 with 65% humidity on the porch!
Sunny day. 29 with 8 MPH wind.
Wha, Sorry you are under the weather. Sick (Plant research) day? Patti
that and some honey do's - need to watch what you are ordering:)
Prediction is now for 6-12 inches here.
The temp hit 32 here once more & the sun felt soooo good as I was walking. Cannot stand the thought of one more flake, much less a foot! Boo, hiss!
Predicted amounts.

I'm in the 4 -8" zone...YIPPPEE!!!
Thought that was feet! Hee hee.
Not unless it changes it's course(fingers crossed) we shouldn't get hit too bad. Unlike Boston!
We go to Boston in the morning and hopefully get to Vt before the storm hits in the evening. Otherwise I may go Pepperell and crash at Wha's. I heard he was having a RU. I am working on a couple more orders. Still thinking about the Maples. They are hard. Patti
right on the border of 4-6"/ 8-12"
Looks like Mom is in the 6-12". We're getting a storm from the west starting tomorrow afternoon.
Oh geez are we going to get hit with that one too?
I think they will meld into one. Not fun for anyone.
No, I am heartily sick of this winter already.
