WOW you all have been busy while I've been out taking a break. I'll never get it all sorted out. On the way home now and ready to pick up my baby furballs. If it wasn't for them i think I'd have stayed away a while longer. Nice break. Overindulged in a myriad of ways. Now it's back to bread and water minus the bread. :0)

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I cheat too, I use two cans of cheap bicuits and cut each biscuit into 1/4's! Roll it into sugar and cinnamon, and place in a greased bundt pan. Then in a sauce pan, melt 1/2 cup margarine, and 1/2 cup brown sugar. Pour over bicuits, and bake at 350, till nice and brown! You can add nuts if you like them!

Good tips and recipes. Pet the furbabies for me, Neener.

Plunged back into the Fall clean-up today and am bushed. Poor MG vines are stuffed in brown paper bags, then I chopped Canna stalks off and started digging rhizomes. I only grew 5 different kinds in rows behind our garage, hardly had room to walk with the screen they've made. I'm gonna have rhizomes coming out the wazoo. Any takers? I have been told though these are virused and have kept them away from my prized ones. Already have Red reserved for you next year, Debra. While taking a break, I sat down and packed EEs in cedar shavings. Just about killed my soul cutting the big leaves back. Where oh where is that greenhouse? Tomorrow's time to plant Tulips and Daffs.....and dig more Cannas. Anybody interested in rhizomes, send me a D-mail.

I am gonna make some cinnamon rolls tonight for work tomorrow.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

This family is like a nice batch of fudge here.. really sweet with a few nuts in it.. ;) *hugs ya all*

Blue Ridge Mtns, VA(Zone 7a)

Days have been unusually warm here for over a week with highs pushing 70. Nights are in the 30's though. One of the weathermen said our warm spell is a 10 year record. I put on sweats this morning, changed to shorts, and was still sweating when I took a break. Come fill up your tummy with homemade sauce, spaghetti and garlic bread. Save me a piece of fudge. I like mine with PEcans...lol

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Got deejays box ready, NEXT! LOL only two more for this week to go, then my send outs will have to be in two more weeks. Fruity, faye, Neener, Joyce, Linda.. please do not think I am forgetting you guys.. I am saving some cuttings with your names on them..

omgosh oh golly Joyce, you sent me some succulents.. oh now what do I do? Help! LOL

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

Debra, go to the succulant forum, you will see my post and they will tell you how to root.
If I sent the one little leaf it turns into the rose shape, just stick it in dirt and it does the rest.
Enjoy. Hope everything arrived ok. I am a bit worried, I used different tape and heard it didn't work on one of the packages.
Heck Debra I could of delivered. Thursday at noon I drove to OKC worked until 8:30pm went to the hotel got back up at 5 went to the office worked until noon, and drove home in the pouring rain for 6 hours. I was shot last night! Just got on the interstate 40 in OKC in pouring rain wall to wall traffic when a guy in a pickup truck spun out in front of me, we were going about 60! He hit the guard rail and came to rest right in front of the company van sides ways with me heading for his door! By the time I got stopped I could see his eyes, then everyone all 4 lines were slamming on brakes and turning sideways I just knew someone was going to hit me and cause me to hit him, but my angel was watching close cause we all came to a stop and I don't think anyone hit anyone else but i was probably the only one still going down the highway in the correct direction.....on the 6 hour trip I saw 6 more accidents.....holy moley! The absolute worse trip I have ever been on and I have driven that a million times I think.

Off to a craft show it is soooooooooo cold here!

FLOYD, VA(Zone 6a)

No worries Debra!! I'm golden. Whenever you get to it.

My beach trip with 3 Sisters was wonderful. Got back to a garage full of blooms and the best fragrance ever.

this is one of my favorite flowers, and I just bought five baskets ( Nice heavy duty dark tan ones) packed with Pentas for 5 cents each. I figured the basKets alone were worth it. I also got ten one gallon pots of Asters for 5 cents each. they aren't the prenniels we grow here, and they are loaded with dried seed heads. How fun that will be!
