Thank you - here's another song I like - going to see if we can get the kids to sing it. It sounds straightforward enough!

Autumn is close to hibernation time, so get your rest in early, girl!!
Take care, and don't over-do anything ^_^
LK-we were married 2 weeks after sept 11th in Vegas-invited all family and friends-gave them 5mos notice and a lot of them ended up not coming because they were afraid to fly...funny thing is that was probablyt the safest time to fly-took us 1.5hrs to check in and another hr to get through security they were being so cautious. Vegas wasn't very busy and we got our rooms for pretty much 1/2 price, so that was good, but felt a little bad for taking a deal as the result of such a tragic event:( We have been together for 13yrs, married for 9:) I know that doesn't seem like long to a lot of you ladies, but somedays it feels like forever to me;)LOL
LK and Cindy-I was going to suggest the same thing. With picassa, I download my pics from my camera to the PC and can the upload the whole album into picassa-Cindy if you did this, you could start the upload and then walk away from the puter while it did it if it is taking so long...
Copied and Pasted:
Wellllllll-WE had a great day yesterday!! Jonathan is up to 5lbs, 6 2/3oz and HE GOT HIS FEEDING TUBE OUT!!!! He took 3 bottles and one feeding by tube on Sunday night and took his 8am feeding by bottle, so the Dr said to leave the tube out (yesterday was the day to change it) and see how he does. So I am REALLY hoping they don't have to put it back in. He took 55ml (he is still at 50ml, so he took a bit more) at his 11am feeding and 40ml at his 2pm feeding.
B4 going to see him, I went to see him I went to the OB and found out I lost 18.5lbs with the birth, so I only have 4lbs left of my pregnancy weight:)!! I can't believe I had 18.5lbs of water, baby and placenta!!LOL She took off the rest of the steri-strips and said the incision looked good and then we talked about birth control. Since I am doing the breast milk, I had 3 options-the depo shot (which I was on yrs ago and I think that is why it took 7yrs to get pregnant), and IUD (I do not like the idea of a foreign thing in my body for a couple yrs) or 1 kind of pill-I will be getting the pill. My BP has stayed down, so all is well:) I am able to drive again so I am thrilled with that too:)
After my daily Jonathan visit I had the car seat installation inspected and that went well too. Chris installed it right, but there were 2 things he didn't do that they don't tell you in the manual. There is a foot thing in front that you have to pull down so that the seat is level with the ground and you have to put your hand in the middle of the base and put your weight on it and cinch the belt a few times to make sure the belt is as tight as it can go. It shouldn't move more than an inch from where the base touches the backseat and Chris's moved about 3 inches since he hadn't put his weight on it. The lady told me a ton of other good stuff too, so we are all set:)
Good for everything, Stacey - feeding tube, car seat, you're driving again, good incision, etc!!
Now, you have to learn how to "move the house" every time you take Jonathan everywhere LOL Seriously - you always take too much stuff - "Just in Case" cuz you don't want to be caught "short" of something LOL
LOL-I have heard that:)
Stacey , Susan is right. And the one item you tell yourself you will not need so you do not pack it guess what you will need it. Enjoy every moment.....
Hiya housse! I don't think we've met........ I don't remember your name, but then of course, I don't remember a lot of things LOL (CRS disease, doncha know?!?!)
Stacey when I first started birth control at 18 years old my estrogen level was so high the only pill I could take was the one with no estrogen that breast feeding mothers take, let me tell ya they work LOL!! I won't get an IUD, I already have bad cramps and IUD's double the pain, noooo thank u! YAY about the feeding tube!!! That's awesome!! Wow 18 pounds, sounds crazy but when you think of how heavy a gallon of water is... it's reasonable. Sounds like you had a great day all around yesterday!! I'm so happy for you!!
welcome housse, glad to have you. tell us about yourself
Thank you all for the welcome. Mom of 3 kids, hobbys are quilting , camping a gardening. Love the great out doors.
Hey Laura/house, glad you found us! Stick around and you will meet a lot of wonderful ladies/Sistah's here!
Kathy, glad to see youposting! How are you feeling today?
Jaye, where are you at today? Out with Kel, or shopping somewhere?
lk, i have spent the last 2 days on the toilet and in bed. feeling a little better today. papaw kept the grandson busy over the weekend while i was sick. the kid is now rich
Just give yourself time to heal, and get used to not having the gallbladder.
Get lots of rest. Sounds like papaw is spoiling the grandson!
spoil? do you think either one of us are capable of spoiling?
Jonathan has such a big fan club. What a big cheer will go up when Stacey and Chris will take their little bundle of love home.
Well, off to the library to take my books back and get more to read. I've been in a reading frenzy for so long the dust and dirt is piling up all around me. Have to force myself to set aside time for reading, computing and gardening. Cleaning house comes last on my list, now if only I had a DH who loved to clean (wouldn't we all).
Ahhh most of my favorite people are here!! And I see a new one too!
Laura, welcome. We got to warn you, being you're a new subscriber, when you mention quilting as one of your hobbies.. there are a few fabric addicts here!!
Yayyyyy!!!!!! Jonathan will be fed via regular method now!!! Hope too he'll be home Friday.
Susan, I'm rooting for you to get that job.
Twyla, you're my hero. So much is happening to you, and yet, you still pick yourself up and keep on going.
Sis Kathy, glad to read you're feeling better. Sorry I'm late with the birdfeeder, but I did managed to mail it out yesterday.
Pegi, I have not pick up a book in weeks!!! The last book I read was by Amy Tan, and that took some discipline.
Oh yes.. we'd love DHs that could clean.
It's about time I make a new room eh? Will do so in a while and will continue to ramble on what had happened here lately.
Come on over.. Laura.. you too.
