Joyce-I kinda snickered at the GYN thing-I didn't think ladies of that age still needed to go to the GYN;)

So glad Kathy is doing good-it really sin't a bad surgery to recover from-I was vacuuming and cleaning about 3 days after mine.

I know this may sound crazy, but right now I am looking forward to the 2am party in his crib-better than having to leave him every day and waking up at night all the time for nothing. I am sure in a couple mos I may regret that thought, but right now I can't wait:)

LOL-oh, we are still amateurs-I am sure some of the nurses talk about us and how crazy we are;)

Jonathan gained another oz yesterday so he at 5lbs, 14.25oz:) He is so close to 6lbs!! He ate 25 ML for his first feeding, and instead of burping was farting up a storm!!LOL Then he did 15ML for his 2nd-I think he would have taken more, but by the time the nurse got his bottle warmed he was starting to get sleepy. He took some partial bottles during the night and one whole bottle. They upped him to 50ml, so he is almost at the 2oz he needs to be at when he comes home, he just needs to eat his whole feedings from the bottle. His sucking is getting so much stronger too which I think is something that will help us get where we need to be too. He had his hearing test yesterday and passed with flying colors. I need to call the peds office my OB recommended today and ask some ?? to make sure it is the right one for us. I want someone with preemie experience. On Friday I am going to get my car detailed out (a good cleaning inside and out really-$14) so that we can get his car seat installed, then on Monday (if the Doc releases me to drive) I can get it inspected and be good to go:)

Couldn't sleep much last night. Kept using the bathroom, caused by over greasy fried chicken :( First foray to the local fried chicken stall in months!!

Stacey, sorry to say that last year my mom did need a GYN....her uterus was falling out and she had to have surgery for that...she had bladder problems too, so she had two surgeons working on her at the same time. Sigh....poor thing. Anyway, I'll be glad to hear what the GI lady has to say tomorrow.

Got some new plants last night and luckily we got 3/4 inch of rain yesterday so the ground might be soft enough to get a shovel in now! It's been like concrete!

LOL SUE!!! Dave doesn't sleep with me because he knows I can't sleep because of his snoring. Sometimes I can hear him from the master bedroom into his own bedroom clear across the 1600 sq ft house! Insane!!

Yes, that darn gravitational pull works on all of us as we age. I had my partial hysterectomy back in 89, then about 5 years ago, because I did not have a uterus to hold everything else in place, there goes my bladder, so that was another surgery! Not fun at all! Getting old sucks!!!

No uterus there.. but the darn boobs fell more!!

I just talked to Kathy...I gave her all your good thoughts...she needs more prayers. She just found out that Missy is in trouble in Florida again. She was going to go get Pamela and when Missy's roommate told the MIL, she came and got Pam so Kathy couldn't get her....she's really upset. Missy is back in rehab again..... :O( She won't talk to Kathy or either of her sisters.......Prayers please......

Oh, meant to comment on my morning meatloaf...that was the plan, LK, to have it for sammys for lunch...but Bill informed me that his friend was coming over for dinner for Meatloaf. I told Bill earlier this week that I was going to make meatloaf if he wanted to invite his friend, cause it is his friends' favorite meal....well, Bill didn't answer me, so I took that for a "no". Apparently, I didn't read his silence right......grrrrrrr..... anyway. I wrapped it up (actually made two smaller ones, cause we both like end pieces) and will just have to reheat. Guess I'll fix au gratin potatoes and a lemon pie...maybe asparagus if they're not too big. So I'll be headed for the store shortly....

I am doing everything I can to make sure when he is released we are ready to go. Made an appt for Mon to get the car seat installation checked and called the peds office yesterday-I think this is the place for us. I talked to the lady for about 10mins and asked all kinds of ??-she was super nice and patient. All the Drs there have privileges at Toledo Children's Hospital which is where he is and they all have preemie experience.

Jonathan gained another 2.25 oz yesterday-he is now at 6lbs, 1/2oz!!! He took a full bottle at 11am, 1/2, 25ml at 2pm, then I gave him a bath right B4 his 5pm feeding so he only took 15ml then-too pooped. My OB came to circumsize him at about 5:30 and I had to practically run out of the NICU-I didn't want to hear his cries. I apologized all day to him about what was coming. I am glad that he will be there instead of home with his poor little snipped part:( I know it is for the best, but boy did I feel like a bad momma letting them do that to him....

Wow Stacey - the little fella really wants to come home, he's doing so well ^_^
