awwwwwww this is why babies look so helpless..... so we'll care for them. We all get the "awwww" feeling when we see them.
animal babies get up and look after themselves so quickly, but human babies need longer care, so they Have to look adorable! and Boy Does He Ever!! Hello little Jonathan!!!

Morning Ladies,
Stacey here is a link to Street Vibrations. But the one thing it does not mention is at 8:00 Friday night all motorcycles will line the main street into Reno and rev up their motors. That is where they get the Street Vibration name. This will be mine and Doug's first time attending. Plus we will be meeting people from the online Biker or Not club that we belong too. Suppose to be close to 400 ppl meet at the El Dorado on Friday & Saturday night. It is called Meet and Greet. And the ride that we are going to take to get there is going to be awesome. We will be starting in El Dorado Hills and going thru the mountains, into east of Lake Tahoe upto the top pf Mt. Rose, down into Carson City then on to Reno. The two links below explain.

Oh no! Sick in bed is not good! You have the crud that is going around? Sending you gentle (((((((((HUGS))))))))))

Thanks for the picture link Stacey.

Cindy, sounds like your going to have a lot of fun on that trip! Will be waiting for pictures. How is your Mom doing? Did you get rid of the beed from the AC?

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Mom is doing good, she has been bowling and really good too!! Yes got rid of the bees, then the A/C came to install new motor would have cost mom $250 but he only charged her his price and no labor charges.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

(((((((((((((sue)))))))))))))) take care, hon!!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Glad to hear she got a good discount!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

I'm here.. think whatever Sue has I have too :( No joke!! I truly am tired of this diabetic disease that leaves your immune system weak.
Still, I'm thankful that it could be worse.

Pegi, you are right. There's always some bored malicious geeks that will try to find a way to bring down virus protection programs! I wish the law is stricter on them.. give them life if they're caught!!
Most of the time, these malicious 'gangsters' come from the Eastern blocs.

Hope Sis Kathy's surgery went well today.

LK, I got your email and yes sign me up to the contest, though I'm not good at appliquez. I still have the row robins to finish.. sigh...

Stacey, you look so radiant!! You make a beautiful mother. Your eyes and your smile certainly are evident of the joy and purpose that Jonathan has brought into your life.
Please try to go to the next reunion... we all would love to hold Jonathan!

Maid M., one step at a time for your mum and you. I've learnt that we can't beat ourselves to death about what's next... just appreciate the moment.
When my ex' mum was going down.. she had Alzheimer and was lucky to not have a clue to what's going on.
((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Marion))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Cindy, you are so lucky!! Never a boring moment with Doug and getting to see new sights.

Hey Susan. Tell that to my little rescues that they need to poop on their own!!! Lol!!! When Kel's not around.. I have to 'stimulate' their bottoms. Not a pleasing scent neither!!!

Crawling back to bed in a while.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Sorry to hear your not doing well Jaye! Sending you gentle (((((((((((HUGS)))))))))) as well.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

My Sweet Sister Sue!!! I KNEW we should have had that Sangria! LOL

Stacey way way cute!

Ok, here's an email that my boss just sent out, apparently Twitter has been hacked.

Anyone checking twitter.com this morning was probably greeted with a mess of JavaScript, mouseover effects, and spam retweets, after a flaw in the site's handling of hyperlinks allowed attackers to inject scripts into Twitter's pages. The mere act of visiting the site with scripting enabled was sufficient to cause exploitation. Payloads ranged from the harmless—tweets with a black background—to the more malicious—redirection to porn sites.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Wow, so glad I am not on twitter!

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

I'm not on Twitter, either!!

Jaye - so sorry to hear you're sick! I was going to call you, but I think you may need the rest more........

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Sangria???? Someone mention Sangria??? Been a long, long time.. but I think I'll stick to ginger tea.
Thanks for the warning Crissy. I think that's what happen to my sister's IPhone. The background turned black, and one of her students, who's apparently a wiz kid managed to rescue it.
Nope, I don't tweet. Can't even handle the onslaught of FB information!! Lol!!

Thanks LK. I sure need all the positive vibes!!

Susan, call me in a couple hours' time if you'd like. Had to do a new page for ehem.. and I don't think I can rest.
Got to water the plants.. take care of the 'kids'...cut some fabric.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

o my....... how too funny, Jaye! I didn't realize you posted this, and yet I called you "in a couple hours' time" LOL

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Sangria is my fave!!!

Copied and pasted:
Jonathan was a good boy yesterday and took 29ml from the bottle on his first feed and 19ml on his 2nd-the first time he has taken from the bottle for 2 feeds in a row for me:) He has also started to suck with more force-you can hear the sucking now instead of watching for bubbles in his bottle. He got his Hep B shot yesterday and they ordered his circumcision and hearing test so that he will be ready to go once he starts eating better, he will be all set to come home. He is at 5lbs, 13.25oz, so he gained 1.25oz yesterday.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Whew...that's more like it...I was trying to imagine him at 11 pounds already, and I just couldn't do it! Sounds like he is doing so good!

Jaye, Mom called yesterday and said she has an appt. on Friday with a gynecologist....I said...um...I don't think it's with a GYN....so I'm thinking it's with a GI guy...I said sure, I'll go with you. So I'll skip exercise on Friday...cause this is way more important...

Marion, so sorry to hear about your Mom....I have always sort of thought of us being in the same condition with our parent(s). Sorry to hear how weak your mom has become. Glad to hear that she was able to eat and keep it down. Maybe that is the beginning of getting better. (((Marion)))

Glad you feel better Sue.....

Marion - it's tough to see your mom at this stage, I know...... my DM went through it when she broke her hip, and they were scheduling her for surgery. Because they were going to take her into surgery, they wouldn't let her eat - then kept rescheduling it because someone else "bumped" her for major surgery. It was 1 1/2 days of not eating....... so, when she finally had her surgery, her body "forgot" how to eat, and it was difficult to get her back on track. She still eats less than she used to. We have filled her plate when she's not looking and she'll eat everything that's on it, but if she is watching, she says "less than that, oh not that........" Silly woman! She knows she needs more to exist on, but is stubborn. She used to be proud of the slimness of herself, but Really - 91 yo and only 87 lbs!! she's 4'9".
Make sure your mom doesn't lose muscle tone - that's very important at her age!!
((((((((((Marion))))))))))))

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

I forgot to tell you all that I talked with Sis Kathy and her surgery went well. She is sore today but glad that it's over and she's doing fine. The surgeon said her gall bladder was enlarged and pushing on her liver. Said that it's been that way for a while and she's going to feel so much better now! She said she probably won't be on for a day or two....she's not moving far from the couch!

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

yaaaaaaaaaaaay - sis Kathy is doing well after surgery! I imagine she Will feel better now that the pressure is off her liver ^_^ Take care, Kathy!
Thanks for letting us know, Cookie ^_^

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Thanks for letting us know about Sis! You make sure to tell her, were all sending lots of love and ((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))))))) and instructions to take it easy!

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Already gave her all the instructions!!! I'm so glad that's behind her now. Thanks for the prayers.... ((((Sistahs)))

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

So happy to hear Kathy's surgery went well. Hurry up and get well dear Sistah!

Had a meeting yesterday with the staff at the Rehab Center and neither of us came out with a good feeling. We asked about prognosis and they looked at each other before answering us. Not a good sign. I think we both are resigned that unless something drastic happens she will be bed ridden and will not be coming home. Hard to accept but I think that is where we are headed. Trying to help my sister get some things done as I really am reaching the time I need to return home to attend to my affairs.

Love all of you---Tink, what a precious son you have. If I didn't know better I would never think he was produced by "amateurs!" LOL
Give him a big kiss from his Auntie M.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

I'm here, been busy collecting info on the RMB Swap 3. Almost that time for finals :D

Cookie, ty for sharing the great news on Sis Kathy. Would she be still even with her soreness?? I don't think so, unless Michael bind her and anchor her legs down!!
Hope the GI and not the GYN will be the one looking into your mum's problems. Would be nice if we have 2 consultations for the price of one specialist!

Susan, I had that same problem with ex's late mum, before she had alzheimer. Her senile doctor had told her that folks her age then (65) need less food. So she ate like a bird. We kept telling her that being she's still active in her garden, she need more food for energy. Nope, she wouldn't listen, and we watched her lose her muscle tone.

Maid Marion---love you so much!!!! You already are a wise one, and you sure don't need any more advice from us. You've been doing the best you can for you mum. All we can do now, is to keep praying for your mum that she'd be without pain.

LOL on the "amateurs"!! Good job Stacey. You and Chris are just sooo natural at this, who would have thought you are amateurs!!

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Hello Ladies,

So good to hear Kathy is doing well.

Marion, hugs and prayers for you. I know it is tough dealing with "MOM".

Stacey, keep up the good work with Joathan. Soon he'll be home with you and will have a whole different routine. Be prepared!!!! When my daughter was pg with Taylor I made her a oneies that said "Party 2 a.m. my crib" LOL she said "Thanks Mom"

Just need to let you know a few things. I probably won't be on much as my ISP has slowed my connection down to almost zip. It is slower than dial up. They said that I have gone over my quota of bandwidth usage and I need to upgrade if I want to stay connected. I am already paying them over $50 a month and will not pay them a penny more. So will check in when I can. Doug is here and we are getting clothes packed for our trip to Street Vibrations. We will be leaving here at 7:30 tomorrow morning. It is going to be a very chilly ride too.

AND....................................by this time next month I will be living with Doug. We have talked and talked about this for months. I am ready to make the move. My mom is becoming to way to diffacult for me to live with. When I go anywhere with Doug she gets an attitude that is off the wall. Plus she is not very soicalable with Doug when he comes up here. And when she knows that he is coming up she will make plans to do things that will keep him from being included. I have had it!!!!! Doug has asked me again and again to marry him. I am very much in love with him and have not felt like this since I lost my husband 5 years ago. And he says I am his heart, his world and hates when I am not there with him. So, when we get back from our trip we are going to be busy moving his grandma's stuff out of the house into storage so that I can move in. Then we are going to start working on different craft stuff and start doing shows plus taking long trips on the scooter.

I hope that I will be able to upload the pictures from our trip. If not I'll have to wait until I move in with Doug and get connected to his DSL.

LOVE YA LOTS!!!!!!!
Cindy

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

From the moment you become a parent, you're Not amateurs - the Lord looks after that! You're in constant parenting mode, cuz although each child is similar, they are wonderfully different, too! If we all were amateurs, the human race would have died out a long time ago ^_^ LOL

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

WOW Cindy - and to think you met on the 'net! I'm soooo happy for you and Doug!!

My DD met her hubby on the 'net, too. Once, when I met someone on the 'net, and was considering marrying him, she was nervous and infuriated with me, cuz she thought that was a scary way to meet someone. THEN she met her hubby that way a couple of years later, and it was OK lol

Sorry you won't be on that much, but looking forward to when you're on DSL ^_^

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Cindy, so glad you two are happy together! Have fun traveling with Doug, but don't forget about your Sisters!!! We will be waiting for your updates, and pictures.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)
