LOL, Marilyn!! I know I won't be adding another fur kid to my pack any time soon! :)
Fall RU in Ma
I'll ask Brian if he wants to raffle Sophie. hee hee hee!
I cannot imagine that!
Me either, but I bet I light a fire under him. ^_^
Be careful....he may go to drastic measures to prevent that! Did he pine for her during your vacation? I'll bet when you were at Tarsha's shower, he was visiting Sophie!!??
He drove the hour and a half home every 2 days!
Hmmmmm - has Sophie become the other woman???? LOL
YES!! LOL
when do you think you will arrive deb?
Sorry, Bill, this new computer is STILL strange - I just now read your comment about the UN-wheelchair-ability of your place, and now I've missed Karen's RU too. Memo to self: no sleeping late, even if we get home after 1 am! no getting home after 1 am, come to think about it ....! Please thank Mrs. Bill for me, though.
Lupines are easy to winter-sow; I've never sowed them in situ.
I'm planning on leaving here bright and early Sat morning, picking up my sister on the way and getting there 12-1. Unless you start earlier, I'm an early riser so am always up early. So anything else we might do would be Sat eve or Sun morning.
Hi Debilu, Sorry you wont be around for the mini RU here in August.
Say Hi to everyone at Bills.
I'm off to Rockland and Tomeston Maine for a week.
Bill you will be fine with your RU. Gardeners play in dirt! What kind of extravagent plans does anyone need to make a good time.
Enjoy your Maine trip JoAnne
Thanks Debilu. Its about the last long trip I can handle.
My sister and I will visit our cousin in Rockland.
Sis and I will share the driving.
Where does your western trip take you in Aug?
the Pacific Northwest
OMG Have the best time there.Never been but its supposed to be lovely.
deb i will have to think a bit what there is to do - nashua has a bunch of very good places to eat - or you could just stay at my place and enjoy a fire and a couple cold beverages - all depends on tired you both are.
Man just reading all the messages and replys are getting me excited. I really can't wait
Hope you enjoy it, Sue! Sounds like a fun sister get-away to me!!
Louise
I know it will be fun, after all, I will be with the best sister ever!!!
lots of pics please for those of us who can't make it.
Sue, I thought you were coming with me!
:)
i wanted to ask what she wanted from you..................
For any of you that know Debi, you know that she is one terrific person. I love her like a sister, oh wait, she is my sister.
Sounds more and more like this will be a fun RU!
Speaking of fun RU's, we all had a great time at my place on Sunday. It was small, but fun. I posted pics and what we did here: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1079083/

Whats the matter Cat Got Your tongue. Last post 7/21 today is the 23rd. No silly remarks, wise ass comments, no nothing. Did you all burn out ? Here I am getting my strength back, looking for things to do and people to aggravate. Bill are you stuck under a rock ?
OH well guess I will have to aggravate you all some more and see what results i get.
Enjoy the evening,
John

hey John glad you are feeling better!
just sitting here wondering what the yard will look like in september - hope the jm's will show some color - louise gave the overview of duties to my better half and she is on board - i think:)
nice sunflower -mine have not opened yet.
japanese maple's i have about 60 or so different varieties. not including doubles
Nice to see you back among us, John! You'll be in for a treat with Bill's JMs even if they haven't started putting on their fall show yet. Any chance you can get Liza to make that Chili again? LOL
Bill - I don't think you or Cindy require much coaching!! :) Put out some of that potato salad and a few Vienna dogs on one of your stone tables or mushrooms, let people just stand there and do a 360 degree view just from the driveway and everything else is just icing on the cake!!
Am I right, Patti??????
Wow!
Bill it all looks awesome! I can't wait to see it in person! Did you leave any Japanese Lanterns for me today? ; )
