After much thought and some harassment that almost led to a "donnybrook" - and with permission from my better half - we have decided to have a fall RUhere on September 18th. I some of you can make the trip!!
I am a rookie at holding an RU so Louise has graciously agreed to help with some of the logistics.
Louise what do i do next?? all i know is there can not be any weeds...............
Fall RU in Ma
Kudos to you and Cindy, Bill! I know that everyone will enjoy seeing your lovely home and gardens!! Hank and I are definites! Let us know who else can come to Bill's place in Pepperell, Mass. on that date, and then at some point, I'll start a food thread and a plant swap thread, and maybe even a "What boulders can you bring to Bill?" thread. LOL!!
Bill, what time would you like people to arrive? Activities will include a rock wall building competition, a gallant soldier weed hide and seek, and a Japanese Maple dig up for those who wish to take one home as a souvenir. Bill has offered to make and serve an 8-course dinner on tables with linen cloths, but I thought we might all want to bring a dish for lunch instead since he's now working again. Wheeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!
Seriously:

I just run across this thread while having my coffee.I am sure I have seen that town name in my travels to/in Mass. How far is that from Milton,Mass.?
Angela and I had such a good time :-) at Kassia's a few years ago which was the first round up and the only one we've attended.
We will bring plants and food.
So please put us down,
Brigitte

Me too, Bill. You would have been embarrassed in front of everyone when I kicked your butt in the race! ^_^
Wish I could go. Lots of pics please. You all know not one single weed will be captured. Oh darn Victor will not be there, I was looking forward to that race too. Also can't wait to see the latest wall of wha from the boulders everyone will bring. Sounds like fun stuff for sure.

Maybe.... maybe... what a terrific idea, Bill, thank you! I have to, of course, check with the rest of my gang, Hope so!

carrie just to let you know my yard slopes pretty good to the pond out back - however i am willing to drag you up to the front door which will allow a level entrance if bathroom needs are required. did the same for my fil.
I am still A1.
did not realize you rated yourself against after a steak sauce condiment?
now i am reeeeaaaaly worried :)
You two HAVE to meet face to face somewhere!! LOL I'm among many who want to be there!
Never use condiments.

Bill, I usually don't stay long enough to need a bathroom, that is, I can last a good while, it's the slope that worries me more.
