I have that Daylily called Jungle beauty. It is blackish purple with a yellow throat. Blooming now too so if it still has a bloom, I'll try to get a picture tomorrow.

I forgot to put the names in there, I found the paper with plant names right after I got back from the postoffice, but the ground orchid was in the seperate box. It blooms white. The other container had hibiscus of several different kinds and colors and some cocks comb thingys, I'll find the name for you because I can't pronounce it. Celosea or something like that, in pink orange and reds and yellows. And I hope they live for you, I have pots full of all that. Show us pictures of blooms if they do survive , when they grow and make flowers. IF THEY DON"T LIVE, it sure won't be your fault, it would be me not packing good. BUT I will be happy to replace any that might not make it. You just enjoy them. Actually , I forgot what all I did put in your box. Well, we can help ID them for you when they bloom. LOL big embarrassing smile!?!

Loca, I have a friend who lives in Hawaii and for this summer he is staying in Arizona and sure not enjoying your hot weather. He's looking for a Vanuatu plant for me. It's a black hawaiian ti plant. He is like a bloodhound when you need to find something.
He got me some blue gingers for Christmas. They are looking good. I sure hope they bloom this year. Might multiply too for next year. ☻

where is enid id like to know if any of her day lilis have bloomed don,t know where she is i hope she didn,t fall in the pond and smell like fish or be stuck in the mud no telling with her was she going to rjs for cookies or what. im going to bed im sleepy again. story of my life lately. mekos do we need to send out a search party. she may be gone fishing again.

Hi Ya'll - Just passing through. Had some more problems with my computer to clear up, now I'm looking for a new one to replace the old desktop. Trouble is I've got thousands of pictures to transfer and the laptop just doesn't handle them that well. Will get in touch later, hopefully with a new machine.

good evening all ive been out side all afternoon had oldest son and dh out working on a flower bed for me it is now 3 feet longer needed room for another rose bush they did good no whining and not alot of work they love me even when i don,t like myself very much.what they did in 4 hrs would have taken me all day. it looks real good and its ready to plant. good day so much work fenished love nettie good night talk later.

This is for ALL you Iris lovers! We have a new game to play. It's called (drum roll please.....) NAME THE IRIS

Mitt is an IRIS grower and hybridizer. He grows some of the most beautiful Irises in the USA.
He has pollinated a couple new ones and they have big beautiful seed pods on them almost ready to pick and grow a baby from. The special thing about this is NOT ONLY DO YOU WIN THE SEED POD, BUT YOU GET TO NAME THE IRIS WHEN IT BLOOMS. It will be eligible to be registered and named by you as the owner of your very own IRIS.
Now How cool is that to have your very own plant to carry the name you choose. NO ONE else will have one like it.
Imagine being the parent of a pod baby!

Now what happens is you play this game, you win the pod, you plant the seeds, you grow the Iris and then you name the iris for real. You register the Iris as your very own.
Now look at the parent Irises and think what the baby plant would look like in your mind and what would YOU like to name that Bloom. What name do you think it would look like?
So NOW go ahead and start picking names for (POSSIBLY) YOUR BABY IRIS!
