I love spending time with you again, Faye! Thank you & Raye for coming to the RU. We had 20 attendees including spouses and friends and I thought that was great since there's never been a RU in this area.

I sung right along with you, Debra! Your Monarda looks so similiar to the one my MIL has. Here's a bloom of my Magenta one if any of you would like a start or seeds.

Happy Birthday, happ! Good for you getting a new camera, you sure needed one. All the Candy and Blackberry Lily seedlings I started from your seeds went to good homes today.

Susan, your Raspberry Wine is beautiful. Do you have the GardenView Scarlet? I too have lots of seeds and root stems to give away in the fall, mine have all gone wild this year.

I am glad you all got to spend some time together. That is awsome.

Oh how beautiful, Debra. Your photo looks like a postcard. That's the only Monarda I have and didn't know it's name til you just told me. My tiny trade last year is already 4' tall and has spread nicely, I love the blooms and so do the hummingbirds. Would you like to trade a couple of slips of it for GardenView Scarlet? Fall is fine if that's good for you.

It's been a long but satisfying two days, so pleasant sharing time with other DG members, it just ended all too soon. Before I shut down for the night, I wanted to share a pic of the butterfly / hummingbird garden I started last year, it's really coming into a full flush.

Susan, glad you had a good time. The rounds ups are so much fun! Did you get lots of goodies for the garden? Pass some of those seeds this way if you get extra, they are so pretty. Are they easy to start?

Will do, LK. Debra can tell you about raising these from seeds. Never tried that since mine came as a plug last year in a trade.
I did get wonderful plants, the back of my Explorer was full. Haven't had a chance to take a pic of them yet but will soon.

Looking good Fruit of The Loom!!

Happy Birthday Joyce a day late. Just trying to get caught up here. Sometimes I wonder about being away. It takes so long to sort it out when you get back.

Hey LK, can we get a new thread soon. Even on high speed this is getting a little slow.

Thanks!!

Pretty birds Debra. Is it a blue Jay?

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Yes, that is the son from Papa and Mama last year. I don't know why he is still around, they are very territorial.
