Found Moon's Marbles

This area of the city is Venice, now where we lived on the South end of the city for 32 years had more flat land and lots of river type rocks, never had a shortage for making flower beds. This area has no rocks where I live but down most of the roads are banks on either side and big rocks where a mountain was cut through to make roads. Its amazing how the landscape can change that drastically in a 20 to 30 mile radius.

I have a bigger mess now than when I started cleaning weeks ago.
At least the water is running through the pipes again...wasn't last night.


Mom's dog ran through her legs to get outside and knocked her down her basement steps. Guess she blacked out for few minutes but then called me.
She was shaken and had big bump but alright. so we got haircut and lunch and a few other errands. She seemed OK so I let her go home

Catch you all later have to help DH and pick up a little so maybe I can find something.

HAHAHAHAHA keep husband's "work area" tidy ROFLMAO Flower's if you only knew....he's a packrat, saves every bit of scrap of bits of scraps, everything thrown around the 2 areas I let him trash, if I look I go insane so I cover my eyes in the gagrage and keep the doors shut in the basement! hahahaha wheeew...almost busted a gut there....

I just have little strips of garden space around the patio. The patio is three times the area of my garden. I would rather have less patio and more garden space.

Did you hear this? DC and Baltimore had 24" of snow! Even mail stoped in DC. Some parts of Baltimore had 40"! Phladelphia had 20"! But they are suppose to have more snow next week!

Flowers, you aren't the only one that is suffering from mud slides. LA has been having torential rain and horrible mud slides.

In the Olympic Canada sites, they have half the snow they had last year. So trucks and helicopters are moving snow around the clock to the winter venues.

Wow! What weather!

I'm up, I'm up. Lynnie, they're talking about a snowstorm heading across the Mid-Atlantic to New England later in the week. You may get your snow.

I slept really late today, was after 8 when I got up.

I just got back from the gym, worked off one chocolate (just ate another one though) I had a banana with peanut butter on it, too, of course, I need my fruit and protein *grin*
I was happy to get through my workout without getting called in.

JJ how's your mom doing this morning? She must be sore!

Smiley I'm not getting excited until I see the snow here! Our weathermen are reporting on other people's storms they got tired of saying it's 18 degrees and cloudy. Today it's 18 & sunny.

Lynnie I can picture you running into hospital all sweaty in your gym shorts..lol

Yep she's stiff and sore, but at least nothings broke.
I am getting ready to head to town to get drywall...hooray.

And the heat in bedroom is working again...hooray hooray.

JJ,I read your Mum had a quite serious fall,I'm glad to hear she's ok,though I bet it gave her a horrible shock at the time!!!
We've had a misty,damp day here today,but not too bad for time of year:}Had a pleasant walk with Sam,so plenty of fresh air.

We have had a nice winter for a change. Not extremely cold and no record snow falls.
And wouldn't you know it, the kids bought a snow blower this year. It was used once or twice I think.............LOL
Otherwise the snow has come in smaller amounts, like an inch or 2. Sure now that I'm not driving that long distance, we aren't getting it......go figure.

JJ glad your mom is OK. She was very lucky. My mom broke her hip on a fall in the bathroom when I was taking care of her. Or did her hip break and then she fell? I'm thinking that was what happened, as I had her in to the dr once for hip pain and an x-ray did not show that she had a small fracture that must have happened all on its own. She had to have a bone scan to find it.

OK, latest on the Voodoo.
Grew another 2 inches. It seems to like that number........LOL
Now stands 27 inches and the bud is 13 inches.
I am getting no smell from it yet and I am hoping it holds off. It may be making a road trip with me when I go to my boyfriends, as my DIL is saying that if it stinks it is going in the garage and she doesn't care if it freezes. I did inform her that 2 sold on ebay and they were not that cheap.
JJ, I'll not be to nice to her if she does that..........grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

OH, sorry Venice. You had asked about the bulb size yesterday and I couldn't get this site to load any pictures then.
Here is a picture of 2 of the bulbs.
The one on the bottom is the first baby bulbs from the one that is in bud. My BF has that one and is waiting for that one to bud now...........LOL
The one on top is the one that is going to be sent to Florida.

Kassy that figures with the snow! If you still worked at the other place you'd be waist deep in it! I can't WAIT to see that voodoo do it's thing! Wow wish we could take a field trip out there to see it!

hi Joy! I went to see my mum, today, she's not far from the hospital so I could get there easily if I had to. She's in heaven, my sister & BIL sold their house but haven't found one yet (they had one but it got snapped up while their attenton was elsewhere) and they have moved into hers...it's a dream come true for her she LOVES having us around.

Lynnie, was it you who was wanting some snow? Here is what one of the neighbor kids made.

Yes, everyone is having a Superbowl party! People at the grocery were picking up last minute things for their party. I took some chili out of the freezer and added cheese to it for a dip with Ranch Doritos (on sale) My little party! Then I have some frosted sugar cookies with a blue swirl on top. I wish you all could be here. But you can watch the game and have your own Superbowl party!

Talking about Superbowl parties, on my way home I saw 3 different guys unloading their beer for tonight!

people here are watching but fewer parties than when our team was playing. I had buffalo chicken salad. That's kind of super-bowlish.

I just got home from town. DH is watching the game in my LR. That never happens.
Son growled because I made him come over to unload drywall while game was on. Couldn't be helped started snowing again, couldn't wait.
Now cooking a couple hamburgers. Mark it on the calender girls I DID NOT stop and eat at the fast food joint while in town, and bought bananas to eat on my PB sandwich in the morning.

Ask your son about -- the49ers or the Browns or the Bills? What kind of names are those?

This is scarey Kassy my DIL is suppose to be having a girl also, and they both are due in June.

JJ's I'm so glad that your mom didnt seriously hurt her self and alls well. I dont have to work tomorrow or keep the grands tomorrow eve. So, my plan is to come on and chat a while. I miss you guys! Gonna have to get me a gone fishin sign....so when I'm home I wont be bothered. Grin...
