Do you have a lot of ice? I know that when the chimney/flue gets a lot of ice build up it will kick off a breaker on the boiler and you have to reset it.

Happened to me once and I believe that is what happened to Joy's.

Your a good sport Venice! Was just happy because they waited so long to get in the superbowl and won their first game there. AS we know, ya can't win em all so will really be interesting next year.

I made the mistake of getting too close to it when I was checking to see that it had grown an inch in one day. That inch was just the blossom!

And I got a whiff of it :-(
For now, that blossom that is just starting to open reminds me of wet moldy tennis shoes.

Now remember, this cat is almost 19 pounds, so that can kind of give you an idea

JJ you're right ,my boiler did ice up like you described to Lynnie,the repair man showed us how to sort it out ourselves if it happens again.
Lynnie,hope your heats sorted soon,being without it's horrible in this weather.
Been about 34f here today,but clear,at least.

Venice, Simba seems to have recovered fully from the cancer surgery. His hair had grown back in so nice that we can't even tell anymore where it was. DIL has checked him from time to time and has said nothing about finding any more lumps.

He is as sassy as ever, as you can tell.

Hi Joy, now that was one cute duck, would be tempted to take it home. How are you today, warmer I hope. Its still in 30's here and more mix of snow and rain expected tomorrow. Uggggg. I'm ready for Spring, think I'll camp out all season when it turns warm.lol

I made a mistake. They say we are to get 4-8 inches of snow starting tonight.

I have Animal Cops on. I like to see that they rescue and save the animals and turn them in a nice pet.

I like that too, Have you see that Bosses undercover? I watched it last night for the first time. This President and CEO of a waste management chain went undercover as an entry level employee, It was really good.

Flowers, yes I saw that! That was so cool the Pres. actually took that step to find out what his employees were doing. And actually did something about it! And he didn't do it for the purpose of firing people but to make them happy. I really didn't like the timeclock guy and I might have fired him because he was going against policy.

Next week looks like it is going to be even better. What time was it on last night???
I want to be sure to watch it again. A very positive show!

It was at 8 or 9 here Venice, just have to watch TV menu next week on Sunday to see. If more bosses did that they might not be so pen happy with regulations would they?

OMG, I can almost watch it opening

I was thrown out of the Obsessed with Orchids because I was asking questions about my orchid. She said that site was only for SHOWING OFF! She suggested I look at a lot of others but I had already looked there. I would put up a frowny face if we had them here. The orchid people have their own little world!!!!
