And this is as far as I am getting into it at this point Venice............ugh!

Don't quote me, but I seem to remember that the white part there is the male part of the plant, and the part right below that is the female part. And if you see white in there, its just some cotton that it stoled off my q-tip.

The tomatoes bombed out Venice. They didn't do anything. The basil died off but have some seed Texas Roses sent me and will start some in a few days. The chives are from seed Kassy sent me. I am eating lettuce, carrots, cabbage, mustard greens, collards and rutabagas from my raised beds.

(Zone 5b)

hi Jim! well that sounds good and healthy!

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Jim, sorry about your tomatoes and basil. Sounds like you have some great produce from your raised beds. I am jealous!

Another 3 inches of snow last night. But the wind is awful, up to 30 mph. Wouldn't be so bad if the snow wasn't whipping around. Now it is 24 degrees but 9 with wind chill.

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

Glad the chives grew for you Jim and that you are enjoying them ;-)
