I don't like wet feet either Moon *grin*
she keeps biting them and throwing them out, I keep telling her to give it to me if she doesn't like! lol they're not typical chocolates, they're specialty chocolates. And all dark.

Lynnie, would it be ok for your daughter to cut them in half? If she doesn't like what she sees, she can just stick them back together and without biting into them.

Sounds like Venice has bitten into one or two of those surprise chocolates before...like the maple syrup ones....grin

ok I guess now is the time to confess my weird thing with chocolates.....I don't like them being touched or split open and then left in the box, and I don't like the empty wrappers being removed till the chocolates are gone if there's a map, because then the chocolates will slide out of place. There's no map on this box, but there are HINTS on the chocolates about what flavor they are...and they're pretty. Some are in the shape of leaves, or have little mints on them, or crowns, or special foil.....kid already has half of them figured out.

I use to bite into all the chocolates and if I didn't like them, I would put them back in the box. It was a good thing that no one at the time minded eating half eaten candy. But I sure would if someone else did that!

Lynnie, those chocolates sound really good!

And if they were MY chocolates, I would guard them!

I just squish them and see what oozes out.
But I don't like the creme ones. Like the caramel and the nuts. AND milk chocolate.

Don't blame your DD Lynnie I would be spitting them out.....lol

If you want them pristine and untouched you should have left them in the car.

age wise i was the 'middle' if you can have a middle kid with 8. but #6 out of 8 , 2 younger than me, 5 older

oh this one actually tastes like a TANGERINE! I bet it's loaded with vit C.

(if i eat the whole box now, i can work it off at the gym over the weekend...let's see the box is probably 5 million calories, in 20 mins on the crosstrainer i can burn 200 calories if i go fast the whole time, that will take what the whole year to burn off the chocolates...)

well if i HAD to pick either you squishing my chocolates or venice biting them an dputting them back...i think I'd have to get my own box.

If someone didn't mind eating chocolates that had bites taken out of them, then it doesn't matter. But I haven't done that in years!

When we were leaving from Germany, several years ago, our daughter's next door neighbor gave us a big box of German Chocolate as a going away present. Didn't notice until we got home that they were whiskey filled. Best chocolates I ever ate, er I think. My memory wasn't to good after the half dozen.
