Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Can't speak for you people, but Santa visits here. Must be your inability to follow directions, Jo! ^_^

Step #1: You Better BEHAVE, you better be GOOD.
Ah, that's the problem. Gotta read that small print. Who knew.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I stopped listening to people who used these phrases
"you should,
you better,
you could
Why dont you
Pitched a bunch of friends that way.Life is better now.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

guess santa was in disguise in that group

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Funny how santa dissapeared when the kids grew up.
Some men just take off when the fun is over.LOL

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Or just roll over and sleep??

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Dahlianut, great combo. I have to repeat that one, but I am fearful of feverfew. Too invasive in my sandy soil, but I will use another lime leaved plant. Thanks.

I have so much to do between now and planting time, that I kind of need 6 more weeks. So sleep well Mr.GH. No stone throwing please!

Ngam, 'Betty Corning'.beautiful shot.
Victor, Double Delight, is just that!
Wha, Dianthus are always wanted, but they do better for me in Vt than Nantucket.

Ge1836, I like those in the "Tango Series" too. Here are some others in my garden , Black Spider, Dot Com, Suncrest, Halloween (lg pic) Orange Art and Latvia. I have a few more, but no pictures yet. Patti

jadjoy I've been 'tweaking' that bed to get continual blooms for awhile. Luv, luv, luving the lilies! Reminds me that I didn't get a bunch moved last fall oops. Victor the double delight is gorjus! It looks like it has good form? Is it consistent? I thought alot of the doubles were wonky? ps The mountain lion did not see the ground hog here so spring has officially sprung!

Great colors and combos today!!!

I say the heck with Phil and think SPRING!!!

Now there ya go, bright and sunny. Helianthus?

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Yes, Jerusalem Artichoke that chokes out everything!! So darn pretty though when it blooms and the butterflies just love it!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

It's consistently double, but it does flop, which I hate.

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

The echinacea? Or are you anxious to stand in the corner again, Victor?!

Got a new lens the other day! Now have two new ones I have to start using. Yippeee!

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Great pics, everyone.

Cousin Nut, I especially like your combo, like everyone else. Very nice!

Luvs, I love the Jerusalem Artichokes, but they do take over. Mine get huge, about 9' or so. Do yours? Here's a pic of the them with my dog Patches.

Ligularia 'the rocket'

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

very cool D-nut

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I have one too, love it but it leans a little too much. I think it's telling me I need to move it as it's in almost full shade. I'm getting the hint. ^_^

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

Pixie that one gets about 2 hours of morning sun in which it wilts and screams "HELP! I'm melting!" but then looks totally fabby all the rest of the time. I think it likes a little sun despite the wilting. screaming thing. Now if only I could stop killing 'Britt Marie Crawford'. I'm on my third one of those.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

The Ligularias like part sun .Mine (Desdemonas) get late day sun from 2-5 .They also like it damp. The ones I have in the part shade garden are half the size of these in late day sun.
I think the compost that was tilled into this garden was super-stuff.
Its a jungle in there.
I am as amazed as anyone,This is clay soil and I wouldnt call it damp unless there is something going on in the foundation of the house that I dont want to know about.
