Nice photos again on this very cold day.

Beautiful water lily, Victor. The color must really blend in beautifully with all your JM's.

Victor - I do think that lily is Pink Perfection. Mine may find another home this year as well. I find it underwhelming.

Here's a hydrangea I love (Victor probably has it).

Very nice, Deb. I'm 0 for 2 with them and I give up. They're too $$ to keep losing.

That's nice, Pirl. Don't think I have it. Which is it?

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Beautiful peony, debilu! The color is great.

Victor - can I plead the 5th? I think it's Ayesha.

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Very nice start!

A sunny sunflower to warm everybody up!

Here's another hydrangea in Southold I love. Does this count as two photos for Pirl? ^_^

Thanks, Pirl. Sounds like a hip hop star! ^_^

Nice warm pic, Ronnie.

Nice H, Weeze.

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Happy sunflower! Makes me smile to look at it.

Thanks, Louise. I love that one, too.

Victor!

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Nice pics, everyone. Victor, I just love the color on that water lily. Mine is just plain ole yellow, but I still like it. My pond can freeze solid (and it does), and it comes back every year.

Okay, here's one from me.

Tree peony color is yummy. I think I killed mine.

Your crocus is a very welcome sight, Victor, and here's a daylily to match it.

My goodness so many great shots, too many to comment on individually but really nice everyone. Specially like the whole garden shots and some of those single blooms are just really wonderful. We sure do need a little spring and color today.
Found one with warm toasty color from last summer.

thx allison - they come back every year on there own:)

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Luvs - the veining is wonderful on that daylily: better the veins show on the daylily (reminds me of Fairy Tale Pink daylily) than on my legs. Love the gentle color as well.

Pat - your photo is like sunshine on the screen - beautiful.

Wha - do your water lilies hibernate in winter?

Warners, NY

Had a camera for the first time in two decades last summer-digitals not even invented the time I was taking pictures of young offspring. Herself screams and runs every time I try and get a picture of her and I find the only photos I got were of daylilies. So I try to be sparing posting them, not to mention I'm still trying to take, download, get them on photobucket and all that nonsense and we've only had the computer two years so I have a time with technology- I've had a new cell phone two months and I still haven't figured out how to use that--it''s easy says my son, taking pictures of the cat with his cell phone if he weren't a head taller than me I'd cuff him in the ear like I did when he was fifteen-why do they grow so big these days?? Did we over feed him?? Anyway I like my early daylily seedlings and am counting the days (after flu, pneumonia, and surgery next week if I don't back out as I' not convinced it's gall stones no matter how many scans that doc takes) But I wanted early daylilies from species so ---------

ge thanks, I really enjoyed your beginning and later in the season shot. very nice for sure.

Love all the other flowers just beautiful.

It is just amazing how seeing such beautiful flowers can change your mood.....

Janet

It keeps me sane.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

pirl - not sure if you are kidding - they are wild lilly's in a real pond - used to be all yellow now they are white/yellow - not sure why

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

So you don't have to bring them to your garage for winter? They stay submerged in the water/ice?

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Patti, thanks. Your 'Penny Serenade' DL is really gorgeous.

Pirl, that lavender dl is really a beauty, and yes, it matches Victor's pretty crocuses.

Pretty iris, Allison.

Pirl, that NOID dl is nice, and Pat I love the pic of your red dl's with all the other stuff going on.

Bill, nice lily pad shot.

Weedy, that's a pretty, golden yellow dl.

Pirl, I have a bright yellow water lily in my little pond that I keep out all winter. It's very hardy. My pond freezes solid, and the lily comes back every year. Here's a picture of it.

Lovely water lily. I didn't realize they could take complete freezing.

The daylily I posted doesn't have a name but I do know the ID since I was the hybridizer - it's Enon x Fellow.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Very pretty, Karen.

Good luck, weedy!

All shots are very warming on this nasty day!

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Well we made it up to 11 WCF. It can't get much worse, right?
