Countdown to spring! One garden photo per day - Part 8

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Maybe the poor reproduction of our photos is why so many online nurseries have off color and underexposed images and we plant bulbs that come up something else other than what the caralogue said.I.m holding my breath

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

glad you like those two Pixie... I have orange too

love the angelique!!

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

I was aware that all we post is possibly up for grabs, but I am also assuming that there are so many photos floating around in cyberspace that anyone using one of mine would be as liking as hitting the lottery. I also am just not that good at it. But the likes of Victor should be using watermarks or only post ones that they aren't planning on possibly being used for commercial purposes.

Pixie, Angelique is stunning! I don't have that one, I should!

Drab day, this should help. SDBI Marksman. Patti

Patti thats a stunning little SDBI!
Angelique is a dwarf (10-15") but boy what a power house bloomer! Allison I believe a bulb of Angelique made it's way to your house along with this one......

Another good combo JoAnn. You are using your early wake ups to good advantage.
I agree those two iris would really set each other off beautifully.
Pix that is beauty. A bouquet on a stick, gotta love those lilies.
Wow Patti now that is what we need on a grey winter day. Very nice.
It's getting hard to remember what I posted already but here is a pic of some nice smelly lilies. 'Casa Blanca' and 'Stargazer' in the warm mid-day sun. Can just imagine the warm fragrance.
I also figure anything you post on line will eventually be seen, used or referenced by someone sooner or later. Nothing is ever lost really. This is something some teens are just now regretting they didn't think about, not to mention the politicians still don't seem to get it.

Oh too slow posting again. I have to remember to hit preview first. We won't tell Pix. Shhhhh!
That is worth Victor scolding anyway. Very pretty.

Oh nice shot Venu. I bet he is as anxious for those fat buds on that branch to open as we are.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I think Victor gave up awhile ago tee hee

Thomaston, CT

Oooh, great photos! We have juncos all winter----about this time of year I want them to go back north! I did order a few lilies, but the red lily beetle decimated my collection last summer---only a few Asiatics survived, so I ordered more of those. We'll see what happens.

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Such beautiful flowers this morning. They would make a wonderful bouquet with great scent as well.

Love your junco, Louise.

Here is another of our own - Munson genes both ways.

Thanks! It's a sturdy plant and does produce a lot of blooms - thank heavens for Bill Munson. He will always remain number one in my book for daylily hybridizers.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Great shots, guys! I have to think about what I'm going to do with photos. Does someone want to start a new thread? Thanks.

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

I will if you want me to Victor?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)
