JJ, denim insulation, what a concept. Never heard of it, but sounds cool. Believe me, I ate enough for all of us.

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

I had never heard of it either but if there is something new or different out ther he will find it.

Glad you ate for me too, I skipped lunch.

(Zone 5b)

just got in from work, hello everybody! Happy late birthday Joy!

we got flurries and the sun came out & started to melt everything, then there was a sudden snow squall with dropping temps, roads turned to ice and there was a whiteout, with a few accidents. This isn't exactly what I had in mind for snow, took a bit longer for me to get home. I'm glad I'm not on call tonight.

(Zone 5b)

Smiley I need cake! Just a bite, pleeeeaase? :)

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Glad you made it home safe Lynn and get to stay there.

Wish I could stay and play but DH is tearing out cabinents faster than I can empty them...and I sure don't want to stop him.

That kitchen floor has that pretty border all the way around under the cabinents.. so far..
I'm thinking maybe he should tear out what is going to be under the new cabinents so I could use it somewhere else...Hmmm

(Zone 5b)

that's not a bad idea JJ.....it's beautiful flooring.

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

I want him to make that part of the fireplace that sicks out look like its a hutch sitting there and then the top and side doors would open to pantry and shelves.

I'll get a picture later when some of the junk is moved out of the way.

Back to work

(Zone 5b)

that's a great idea too!
I guess Smiley isn't sharing that cake...

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Whoo Hoo!! he finally agreed with me on something.
Said he was thinking of pulling that border up too.

Her DH probably already woofed it down. :)

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

Not all of it, can't eat too much in one sitting. That's what I told him, anyways :)

Lynnie:
Wakey Wakey! Got some cakey!

(Zone 5b)

I'm up! I went back to sleep this morning now I gotta run run run lol
quick hit me with a coffee!

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Morning,
Help! I can't find a coffee cup.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Good morning Ladies....turtle songs and cheesecake...wow.

Here is some info on denim insulation....it is supposed to be better at sound proofing than fiberglass, and is certainly easier to install...no itching.

The Turtle cake is a group of chocolate cupcakes, frosted and set together...I thought it was too cute.

Gonna start a new thread....back with the link in a bit.

A glass works if ya can't find a cup.....grin. Just use a koosy to cover the glass....Morning JJ

Morning Moon,
Like anything else thats better for you it has a bigger price tag too.
Waiting for quote from manufacturer, as we only have two walls to do may not be to bad.

Found a cup, naturally last box I looked in.....

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Always the case on cups and insulation, both....grin. The neat thing is it is treated with boric acid for flame retardation, but boric acid is also a main ingredient in bug proofing powders....No fire, no bugs.....grin
