And I can be gross while my neck is out of joint and hurting. LOL I did have my dad put biofreeze on it so the muscles have relaxed some and my head has quit pounding because of that. I go to the chiro tomorrow to get it taken care of.

We have a huge tube of Biofreeze. I love it!

I have Biofreeze, Ben Gay, and some other gel I got from my current chiropractor. Out of the three of those Ben Gay works the best, hands down.

I didn't want to know if you think I'm gross!!! I wanted to know if anyone here liked them or if they know of someone, under 90 of course, that likes prunes. I'll join the gross club. Prunes are great!! I also just found out that I like dried cranberries. I thought they would be to tart for me to eat (don't like tart things to eat), but they are sweet and no sugar is added. Now I can't get enough of them.

LOL! Well if I have to be gross, then so be it. I've wanted to try the cranraisins I think they're called. Spell check says that's wrong, but it seems that's what it is. Maybe I'll get a little bag of each. At least then I can tell my mom I do like cranberries, she just has to dry them, not grind them....lol...

Had to go to chiro today. My neck was felt like it had a ball lodged on one side. My regular one wasn't in so I went to my dad's. He took one look at me and said my hips were out then felt along my shoulders and neck and kind a winced. lol. He got me back in but my muscles are still tense so I have to put biofreeze on again. Otherwise I may not be able to work tomorrow.

Wow Pep you sound like me! When I went about a month and a half ago my left hip was 1 1/2 inches lower than my right, and the natural curve we have in our neck, mine is gone. Probably not anymore though. I love going to the chiropractor, it feels so good to get twisted and popped.

My hip was noticeable to him but not me. LOL

Oh terry, Micheal Buble is a pop singer who sings Frank Sinatra type songs. Or I guess a better way to put it is he has a similar style to Frank Sinatra. He's very good!!! Plus cute to boot!! LOL

Well girls, I still say Chiropractisy is a racket. That's right!!! An Illegal Racket!! Good grief...my moms left leg has been shorter than her right leg since forever!!! I went to the Chiropractor a few times and she kept wanting to crack my back. MY BACK DOESN'T HURT!!! JEEZ...it hurt when she was done!! I finally had to tell her not to touch my back. Doesn't it seem odd that after all these years our bones would want to be in the position they were when we were born??? ;P

Crissy, I know how to do the things...but I have been having the longest brain fart known to man. For some reason, today it just dawned on me. Yea, I yelled at myself really good too. jeepers.

Just found out about this today...a train derailed in a town a few miles west of here. On a bridge and a few cars (19 derailed though) were just dangling, I guess, off the tracks. Here's one of the stories;

If I had known, I would have brought my camera. We went to Wyanet to the locker over there. On the way back, they had 3 of the cars pulled up the front of the field there. If that was 1/2 mile to the left of the picture, houses would have been involved. I hate these railroad tracks around here!! If I'm going to be first, I stay so far back it's not funny. I'll still be toast if they derail, but hey, I won't get burned as bad?

Terry your so funny, your spine is what makes your hips crooked, you lay on your side and they 'ring you out.' that moves your spine which re-aligns your hips. They cannot realign your hips without moving your back first, your skeletal structure, tendons, and muscles don't work like that. If you look at the skeletal structure they're all linked together, when one moves it all moves.

One of the ladies whom I speak to on the Weather Forum lives in Alaska. (kiska) She has meeses visit her yard regularly. She takes pics and posts them. So neat to see.

The only meeses we see here are of the tiny long-tailed variety....and the cats handle them....grin

I agree with Terry. My sister swears by her Chiropractor. Twice she's talked me into going to one and both times I left in such pain. I have a spinal injury, but they say they can relive the pressure and pain in my back. When I complained to one about increased pain in my lower back after his treatment, he told me to take ice enemas to relive the pain. ICE ENEMAS!! No way!! The second one I went to had my neck pulling over onto my right shoulder. She'd twist and pop my neck and an hour later I'd be in pain and my head pulled back over onto my shoulder in spasms. I quit going and after about a month, no more pain. Yes, I still have some pain in my back, but not worse than at the beginning and I've learned to live with it. After my injury the doctors all said that within 5 years I would be in a wheelchair unable to walk. Well, Hey Doctors, These is 2009 and my injury was in 1982 and I'm still walking!!!

There are good chiros and bad ones. I've been lucky to have good ones who help me. I only go when I'm hurting though. And I have to be hurting bad.

I used to go to a chiropractor but he neither helped nor harmed and I stopped going.

The storm started this morning about 10:30. It's snowed steadily all day and we have about 2" of the white stuff. It's pretty heavy, too. It's tapered off now. By morning, we may have another 2". And it's cold! 28º

If I don't go once a month my back and hips will lock up like a drum, then I'm really screwed. I like being rang out, head pulled and twisted, it all makes me feel better. I think a lot of the chiropractor stuff depends upon the person too.

We're supposed to get severe weather with multiple tornadoes. Ug

And I got bad news, Dave was laid off today. His boss talked with him out in the parking lot and they chatted for a long time, it's clear his boss did not want to lay him off. Dave's in great spirits, said he's going to rest through the Holidays since he's worked every day since Halloween, then at the first of the year he'll start taking care of business and get himself back on a roll again. He gets paid and keeps his benefits until February 8th, then after that he'll get unemployment unless he's found something else by then.

I have a friend who says that going to the chiropractor is in your mind. (And he says) It's in his. If he doesn't go, then he needs a tune-up at least once a month if not more. I don't get it, but if he wants to spend the money, then more power to him. Next time you're at your chiropractor Crissy, ask where he went to school. Palmer?

We had snow yesterday/last night/early morning, John said it looked to be about another 6". We're supposed to get freezing rain turning to rain tomorrow. Rain on Thurs. It changes every day, so we'll see. It was all snow, then it turned to snow and a mix on Christmas Eve, now it looks like all rain? I didn't see the the temps they're calling for, last night it sure went up a lot warmer than it had been.
