I have much more on my want list than my have list - that's cuz I'm a newbie. You wait - by next fall I hope to have lots of stuff to share to repay all the kindness of the great peeps I've met on Dave's!

Not sure, but I did hear that somewhere . . . Mushrooms are a fungus - eeeeewwww! But they are a sign of healthy soil too. Where did you hear that?

hello everyone... Hope you had a great day ..I spent mine digging hosta for trades and rearranging some in the yard... Kids had Dr appointments for allergy shots and poison ivy.... ughh will be glad when cold weather gets here and that stuff dies back some... My youngest gets it every time he walks with-in half a mile of it...

Rain is moving back in for tomorrow, my yard is still wet from 4 inches over the weekend and showers after that....

Going to make a LG in front of my porch as soon as I get all the gourds pulled down( hopefully tomorrow).. I want to make it a pink bed.. I already have a pink double delight coneflower and rosy return daylily and some pink lantana started by the steps...Now i have to decide what else to put in it...Open for suggestions lol and ideas of plant combinations that work well together....

My irises are looking good...all the rain has covered some of the rhizomes but im hoping since they are new maybe it will offer a lil protection this winter from the cold...Guess next spring I'll have to get out there and let those rhizomes see a lil sunshine again...

I found out Loca. She didn't purposely plant them. Soil was too wet. Hehehe. There is still hope for me yet. I decided to go ahead and plant my brug seeds for the contest so look out all you brug lovers. Mine will be far behind you guys but on it's way.

It can't be too far behind - lol. I have one seed left and it's not doing a dang thing . . .

I hope so... I also have a miniature pink rose on the other side of my steps...gonna pull those gourds and lay my boxes tomorrow... A guy who does yards brought me a trailer full of grass clipping to use... Now i just have to get my brown to go down.. I found some top soil on sale for a dollar a bag(40 ponds) today and bought 1o bags put on top so I can have it ready to plant next spring...

Good Morning all !!!! Another rainy day here.:((((((((( It has rained here so much this year and nothing has done well. It has been good for the potted plants and all but the rest just drowned. My mums I just put out look terrible. In a good spot with good drainage but just so much water and the ground is having a hard time of getting rid of it.. I had walnuts just beating the heck out of the house last nite. the wind was blowing so hard with the storm coming in and I am hoping that it took the most of them off the limbs. Really sounds like a bombing going on when they hit. LOL

Hey all I was just reading the Accu Weather and they are saying the Mid West is going to get dumped on with snow and then it is moving into the North East and Great Lakes area. Everybody in that area bundle up and be careful. It's moving your way too arejay. Suppose to start tonight.

Been cleaning walls and junk in the living room and kichen the last couple of days. Fall get ready for winter cleaning. Living room is done, kitchen is started and I'm ready to get back outside already. Still waiting on dirt from DH sigh the man is sloooow.

Oh Mindy we're not suppose to get any yet. Just way North of us LOL Not as far away for me as it is for you though. I am trying so hard not to turn our heat on yet and I am afraid we're going to have to here shortly. I have been setting around with either my house coat on or a Hoodie and DH has a hoddie and a toboggan on LOL. He has a lot more fat on him than I do and he is freezing to death LOL

Oh good I'm not ready for snow just yet though I can remember the first little snows in October then by Thanksgiving getting the big ones.
Taking a break from cleaning the kitchen walls. I'm half done debating whether I have time to clean behind the refrigerator before Dh comes in for lunch. We are supposed to get rain today and if it does he'll be here getting in my way if I try to clean. There's always tomorrow LOL. The good news is all that digging with the shovel this summer means I don't feel sore from climbing up and down on the chair to get things off the top of things and to reach the top of the walls.

OMG you guys are not going to believe this... Courtney sang at school with a boy a little bit ago.. The baseball coach is Darrel Worley's cousin..(country music singer) as soon as she was done, he pulled out his cell phone and called him and told him he needs to come listen to her sing because she's going somewhere... OMG my hands are still shaking, lol Pray it happens you guys pray pray pray
