ok here's the oleander, which is actually a bush or shrub, smells wonderful, highly poisonous though...won't grow outside in my zone 5a garden though

at one end of the garden some are upwards of 2 feet the other end not so tall....better soil on one end

You have such pretty flowers!!! And that marigold is more of a lemon color.

of the marigolds...yes kinda lemony with dark orange....now when they are ready did you want a few of the yellow datura seeds? they get huge

Is that an outdoor plant?

if we lived in Florida or Hawaii it would e but it's another one you'd have to drag in every time the weather got cool

I don't think so. I am really tired of these avocado plants and they aren't even pretty. I have no idea what they are going to do or even live!

Do you take it outside in the summer?

yes I do, cause if you don't when they start to bloom they will drive you out of your own house! they only smell real good in the evenings and then inside the house its very very strong...outside in the evening the smell good in the house however it's so overpowering it's almost nauseating

honestly I don't like marigolds, I just planted them as filler....they drive my sinuses nuts

I have some orange ones that someone gave me. Those really stink!!! Even worse than regular marigold.

my daughter likes them, cause orange is her favorite color....I just realized I'm home alone...the kids are at the fair....YEAH

Do you want some of the orange ones? You can just put them in the backyard!

oh so a single bloom instead of doubles or what ever the puffy ones are....yeah those will look nice in between the roses

I got some plants from a lady on freecycle.com. Hers really looked nice with a whole bunch together. They are a little different.

I'm gonna have to check out this freecycle thing...I've never heard of it before

one thing is for sure. I definately put more seeds in my seed packets than the ones you get from wal mart!

I know what you mean! I bought a package of sunflower seeds a couple years ago and there were only 10 seeds in the packet!!!

exactly and after growing my own garden for the last couple years....you cannot tell me they worked that hard for 15 marigold seeds in an oversized pack for me to pay $1 to $2 a pack!....you have marigolds you know them things make way more seeds just per flower head.

I mean its one of them few plants where you buy 1 you literally end up with thousands but the end of summer!

I thought I was all finished with the marigold seeds because I did the yellow ones, the deeper yellow ones, and the orange ones Then I started sweeping off my desk. I turned around and there was a whole tray of yellow seeds that I haven't done! : ~ (

I am such a dork...with alls these plants just agreed to 2 more trades....my god it really is an addiction

yes...and I took your guys advice and I'm gonna set up a table with my MIL at Spoon River Drive and sell the rest

plus the ones for my baskets...I printed off special packets for those though

nope just sit with tables in her front yard.....she's right on the route

because there are only six baskets this year my son is going to hand-draw all the pictures on them
