JJ, I dug up my lilies, the large ones, and replanted them so they aren't so deep in the soil. They must be happy because even though the stems look dead, there are new very little tiny roots or stems growing on each plant! About only 1/8" long but I was surprised to see growth!

Flower seed question!
I am cleaning my marigold seeds. Since I picked them when they had only a bit of brown on the blossoms, there is dried petals above the seeds. I would assume if anyone would ever want some of these seeds, it would be ok to have a little yellow attached to the seed. Right? I am sure someone out there would like some yellow marigolds.

Lynnie, I don't know why but I find that 2 nicely fried eggs and toast is more filling than an omlet! Yours sounded really good!!

unfortunately a coleus is an annual in our area, but if you want the exact same color as you already have the only way to get it is with cuttings cause the seeds don't always come out the same as the parent and well some coleus...like my henna do NOT seed

The big colorful one is the Henna coleus

Trina, so are you going to get cuttings off your henna? Surely you aren't going to bring the whole thing inside, are you? What kind of seeds does it have? Have you ever trying to plant those seeds to see what the plant would be like?

the henna doesn't make seeds unfortunately, and I have been taking clippings off of it...

It gets HUGE so now I can't bring the entire plant inside....did you want some clippings off of it...I will be getting everyones stuff out in tomorrows mail I hope
