the only lily or whatever it is I planted someone gave me called a Naked Lady....never seen one before and if I don't like it then it's gone too...never really have cared that much for them...I have seen a few I liked to look at but not enough to plant them

Flowers, are you talking about the butterfly bush? Mine is about a year old. now. It was 6" tall in the spring and it still is 6" tall. By fall last year, it was about 30" tall.

Do abelias grow there?

That doesn't sound good Venice something is going on to make it change that drastic. They like a lot of sun and fertilizer helps a lot.

Oh yeah thats pretty and would have fall colour. Like the fact that it only gets to a certain height. My switch grass is about 7 ft tall now and just beautiful winter and summer.

I replanted that thing with fresh soil and coffee grinds. I think that was about a month ago. It gets sun about half a day. Honest, I have everything I can think of doing for it. It could have gotten a big dose of week killer earlier in the season.

Hard to find the red hibiscus here moon that is georgeous.
