Gotta keep things easy for Dave and Kassy at the BF's....Grin
Welcome to the new house....how shall we decorate this one?
Location,Location,Location....New Gypsy Home
pretty Moon!
Glad you feel better Trina!
Kassy astilbes turn a lovely bronze color when you cook them *grin*....
good one moon I was gonna suggest Bloom where you are planted
we, as a group, tend to seed more than anything ;) soma might call us invasives.
I am doing a very subdued and slow-mo Happy Dance this morning
LOL Lynnie true some might, I just call us proific bloomers
Thanks Lynnie. That is the morning glory bush....blooms like it has good sense...grin starts in early spring and will go right up to first frost...and it is perennial....grin
Trina, good title, you may want to use it to continue your thread. Once the numbers start getting up there it makes it difficult for dial up folk to load, and Dave is on dial-up for sure and Kassy when she is at the BF's.
Sugar beets, Kassy? Yummy
la chupacabra, la chupacabra
I thought some HAD called us invasives....grin, or at least weeds....grin
ok then we'll use that one next...
la chupacabra, la chupacabra, she's trying to steal my chimichanga
la chupacabra, la chupacabra, but it's mine and she can't have none
A landscaper friend we haven't seen came over the other day. He walked in the back yard and laughed and yelled (he's a loud guy anyways) "oh boy! do YOU have creeping charlie!"
that was supposed to be prolific bloomers!
and they did too, weeded us right outta where we wanted to be
Did you thank him kindly for stating the obvious? Grin
I have so many weeds in the back, I can't remember what real grass looks like, does any one have a picture of real grass?
ok I'm going to run a few errands....see you guys later! :)
Gotta get the laundry in...starting to drizzle...later 8-)
help me help me...I'm being attacked by the chupacabra!
Don't let him/her get you!!!
Can you make him join the army when he is of age?
Is he your son or your hubby's?
according to his birth certificate he is my husbands, Iowa would not let him have a paternity test to find out if this was in fact his child...just started garnishing wages when the kid was 5, he never even knew he existed until then....and these days military won't take you if you have a record, like the type he's working on getting
Oh, very complicated!
I need to take a shower and run some errands. But I will be back later.
Be careful so the chupacabra won't eat you!!!
Be sure to rest, take your meds, and do the ice thing.
Later!!
Have fun Venice
Did I finally find you?
Everyone out to lunch?
Guess I'll go do something constuctive then.
Venice I'm working on your liliys may even throw in a couple surprises!
hey everybody
Hi kassy.
The things a person has to do to stay in the loop. lol
Those look like nice beets. Except I don't like beets.
Don't know when you find the time to do all you do. You guys make me feel lazy or old not sure which.
Maybe Jim will loan me some carmel.lol
GS home so better go do the homework thing.
Later, nice to see ya
I'm so glad your back JJs!
Kassy, I love beets. One of the few things I would eat when I was small. Beet juice is great for easter eggs too.
smiley, I'm canning beet and we have easter egg chickens.........LOL
The big one is the expired seed....duh....grin
JJs so glad to see you you made it....grin
Julie, Venice....hello....new house is filling up.....cool.
Kassy, can you tell any difference in their taste?
I feel like giving away these avocado trees! They are in 10" pots but I bought 14.5" pots because they didn't have the 12" there and they were a lot cheaper. The pots are heavy and I will have to repot them in the house because there is no way that I could lift them once they are in the larger pot. It took a while to find something to put under them. Finally found a couple of real cheap plastic trays. I hope then don't crack with the weight on them. So that is what I have done all afternoon!!! And I still haven't picked up stuff to plant them. I usually boil rocks to put in the bottom but I think I will just break a small pot because I have plenty of them. They are clean and I even baked them. I am tired out just from this! It was a long drive south of town. Do you want a tree???
And no, Trina, I didn't have fun! Did you have fun today? Hope you are feeling better. I looked at one link that moon gave you and it looked good. Have you called anyone yet? The services look promising.
I really like fresh beets with a little salt and a little butter. No comparison to ones in a can.
yech! beets are nasty...yucky yucky beets
I heard free trees and nothing else
In Australia, they eat beetroot on sandwiches the way we do tomatoes. My son in law was amazed to find them pickled here. He ate them like....pickles...grin
Venice, those darn trees had better grow their butts off after all the stress they have caused you...grin
LOL Kassy!
i'm gonna steal my daughters toast
OOPS they expired 7 years ago!!!
Who was suppose to tell them not to grow???
It just goes to show, where there is a will....beets grow....grin
the marigold seeds in my garden are over 10 years old...been frozen a few times too...think about it who told the seeds they were supposed to die
