Hey Jean, are some sweet williams plants male? I swear I have some that I grew from seed...........I am getting no buds at all on them :(
If they are male's, I'm going to throw them out :-)

Kassy, dianthus are considered hermaphroditic plants. Each plant has both male and female parts. They aren't male per se, they are just lazy.....grin

lazy plants....haven't we all had a few of those?

Well I don't like lazy plants so they will probably be going.............LOL
I might give them a break for one year, and plant them in the big flower bed just to see what they do next year................and if nothing, then out they go next year ^_^

Moon..just saw your ? on the other thread..would I be a driving instructor now? I don't know, maybe. The car had a brake on my side so that helped lol I was pretty good at steering from the passenger side too, and stomped the accelerator once when taking a kid on the highway. I enjoyed the kids & they asked advice too.

Before you guys start shootin', I have to decide whether or not to bring my rhamnus fine line shrubs inside over winter or plant them (which means digging up & moving 2 dwarf alberta spruce...) what do you guys think?

Lynnie, if I can repot these stupid trees inside the house because they are too heavy to do it outside and bring them in, surely you can bring in your shrubs! lol Ask someone else for advise!

Sounds like you would be endangering a bunch of plants. The spruce I would wait to move at the end of winter and plant your shrubs in the spring after danger of frost. That gives everybody best survival chance IMHO....grin

Hi lynnie and Jean. Jean, I just saw you posted some pic's of your tricolor hibiscus.....post some here too;-) I received a var. hibby from a wonderful lady a week or so ago and just love it.

My Kitty dumped a gallon of water all over the floor! The gallon I had open to evaporate the chorline.
