That darn Sprint add is back up and running. Been trying ever since you posted back to get it to open. Finally caught it when it didn't pop up. It is the add that is locking the screne. I got on a site several months ago that wouldn't let me out of it. Finally had to turn the computer off. The management needs to ditch that advertisement. There is no sense it doing that.

That sprint ad may be part of your malware...from the Latin meaning bad. Either a virus, tracking program or other type of spyware tried to attach itself to your computer...Avast snagged it and isolated it protecting your databases from problems,

It trapped it and did away with it. I finally left Dave's on account of that ad. Came back to see if I could get on. Who ever runs this site needs to ditch this ad.

I am not having a problem with pop up ads. Your computer tool bar should have a pop up blocker on it to stop those ads from bothering you.

For goodness sake's Jim! what kind of add (pop-up) are you seeing Jim? I do not get any pop up's on my computer while on Dave's Garden!

Jim if that advertisement is on Dave's Garden, you can go to a place on your message board that will allow you to turn all the ads off!
I had the same problem till I canceled the ads.

None of the Mushrooms / Polypores that Kassy found on the 40 today should be considered edible.

If Weeping Cherry hadn't been suggested for Jjs dead tree, I would have guessed Peach.

It may not be dead Dave, merely electocuted by the lightning and stunned....perhaps it will return, but since it is a graft, it may only return from the root stock.

wow. i missed a lot last night. that's what I get for watching a stupid baseball game. Lynnie, are you a popcorn piggie? we are here, too. but I'm not allowed to microwave it. gotta be the real deal. I just read in the paper that popcorn piggies lower their risk of certain types of cancer. that's good news.

wow Smileymom, I haven't heard that, must be all the fiber. I'm not necessarily a popcorn piggie, I'm just a piggie in general *grin* I too prefer it made on the stove, though, so no microwave popcorn here either. Last night I got in late & had no dinner, there was plenty of food here but no energy to fix myself a plate lol I was hoping it would magically appear on my computer.

Aloha Kakahaika, Dave....thanks for the virtual tour down the mountain...hope your trip to Hilo was successful.....Looking at the landscape around the cinder hill made it difficult to reckon with the TV images we have of Hawai'i....we see only the cities and lush green of the rainforests, rarely the swaths cut by lava and volcanic ash..then of course the beautiful 'jungle' represented on LOST.....grin

You do need to know that most of the Bromeliads have razor sharp teeth along the edges of the leaves Trina....gotta have room to give them a wide berth for walking....may have to wait for your conservatory so you don't wind up with blood on the carpet....I have scars from planting mine....grin

then I'll be sure they go in the 15 yr olds room! a new form of punishment for bad behavior....

Up at the top of the page is a link to My Tools. Click on that and it will take you to a menu down the side of the screen. Click on the one for ads and uncheck the bottom one for 'other advertising...that should take care of it.

My "I can hardly wait" show is House with Hugh Laurie...have been a fan of his for years and this season will be from the Sanatarium/psychiatric hospital he checked into in last season's finale.

Trina, you really should look into the MasterGardener program in your area....you would enjoy the program and be able to help others with plant matters. I think you could get info on it through your county agent/cooperative extension service.

Trina, the nursery worker may have only known the Jade plant as a Crassula, or may have been new to the nursery.
