oh yes, I forgot about your night phobia, Trina. My dolls used to move when I was little. REALLY freaked me out. I'd have to go under the covers! Dave, what time is it right now in lovely Hawaii? It's 6:30 AM here in Buffalo.

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

5:30 am here....nah honestly smiley it wasn't the plants...my backs killing me and I didn't want to wake hubby with my rolling around and whimpering so I got back up somewhere between 1 and 2

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Good morning....new thread started for the benefit of our dial-up friends....see you there....

Trina ~ I like thinking that it was the plants watching you ;)
Ya sometimes I give up and just start at the end. It's much easier on the brain. "Ooo I would have commented on that but it was 108 posts ago..."

Dave ~ I like Hauna braddah best. LOL! "Oooo braddah you smell like one dead fish!" It works. Especially in AK.

Uuuuummmm Moon, are you leaving me to go find it without a name? I'm guessing it won't be hard to locate :) I'm off to see if there's already 248 posts on it like this one when I found it.

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

LOL Ican the posts add up quick around here don't they

they add up almost as fast as my plants! LOL

Ah plants. We need bigger houses so we can have all the plants we want :)

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

Oh absolutely!

Time to start a new thread, folks. And chatty threads really need to be in the "General Discussion & Chat" or "Parking Lot" forums ;o)

Hayward (Z8b-9a), CA(Zone 8b)

Ooops! Sorry! I don't know where I'm supposed to be postin, here, there, slugs, what, where---- HELP!!! :-)

Hi Terry :-).... Ya know, "general discussion & chat" may well be the nether regions for most of us used to the beginner gardener's forum :-) It feels so "far away", way over there to click on... am i right?!? ^_^ Plus gramps might get lost and won't know what to do... so can we please stay in "beginner's garden", pretty please!!!???

^_^

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

The beginner gardening forum is really intended for beginner gardening questions.

Chat-type threads in a forum like this can seem a little intimidating to newbies, or someone who isn't part of the group.

That's why we have forums just for the chat-type threads - they aren't overshadowing the intended purpose of any other forum, and everyone pretty much expects to find serial-type threads in there ;o)

Trina, when the thread opens up, look for skip to new. It will take you to the last place you looked.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Come join us on the new thread Jim.

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

ok lets just meet in the parking lot, only one question where the **** is it? lol

Maybe I've been asking the wrong question. Maybe I should be asking what we need to do to get a forum where we can have the type of threads we're looking for. Think I'll go try the contact us button. It's next to the parking lot right?

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

This is not funny but it is rofl, I meet ya in the parking lot as soon as I find the darn thing its somewhere between the discussion chat and the board room I think

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

Jim check your dmail!!!

Leicester, NC(Zone 8a)

maybe we are supposed to jump in the plant files I'm afraid a spider will bite me.

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

lol flowers. OK I've been up for 23 hours straight and finally I'm tired...good night all...I could possibly be back later...sleeps all messed up

No danger of that, you'd have to go to the insect id forum ;)

Gnite! Hopefully you get some rest tonight!

Canton,IL &Dent Coun, MO(Zone 5b)

I hope so too...last time i got insomnia like this it took 11 days

So if we don't see you for awhile do we assume you passed out from exhaustion or that your finally getting some rest? I suppose passing out works as a form of rest.
