STORIES OF BASIL,LAMBIC AND CORN
Just laughing my bootie off with you.....one of mine was a Copro--artist for a couple months. Don't know how many times he painted the crib and walls....I am blocking the memory....LOL
Better watch that one babeegirl shes starting young. Paybacks are always good
Venice I will see if I can get a pic of mine to see if they look alike ( right after I get these weeds). I really don't know the name the neighbor just called it a sedum as she was invading my yard with it.
Give the Avo some compost & manure & calcium carbonate when you repot it. Also a well rounded fertilizer.
I'm off to work. Everyone have a good day!
A hui hou!
have a good day at wok Dave!
I want to plant my knockouts, it's 88 out there...I take back what I said about fall weather.
Hey people, having another candy bar and coffee break. Two in one week I'm a baaaad girl. How the heck are ya.
I'm having coffee too....finishing off the pot....then I'll plant the knockouts!
babeegirl cute story isn't it fun to be grandma! I have a cute story. My daughter from out of state came to spend Christmas with me a few years back and brought the three boys toys to put under the tree Christmas Eve after all were tucked in. The oldest whom was around 6 at the time woke me standing by my bed around 5:30am with eyes as big as saucers and said "Mamaw, Santa was here and left the whole bag" I cracked up.
Hi Lynnie, am debateing if I should bring in my Mandevela plant. It looks so pretty climbing the fence
oh that's funny flowers! I can't wait til Rian is old enough to help me in the garden. I think she's got the skill to spread manure mastered lol.
Coffee here too, just getting around to lunch....Kid just got home....gotta put on the parent hat.....homework dead ahead.........A hui hou.....I like that. 8-) That is me after this strong coffee....grin
It certainly is sweet isn't it Babeegirl? The payback, not the painting....grin

I have a now 7 year old granddaughter that is showing a lot of interest. She checks the blue berry bushes everytime she is over and we cut what is blooming and make mommy a fresh cut arrangement for her to take home. Can't wait until one of them gets big enough to weed eat lol
Last Christmas Eve my 6 yr old slept from 10:30 pm till 12:45 am, never went back to sleep, woke us up again at 5 am...talk about coffee!
I gotta go parent too...see you guys later!
Crack the whip granny and make good grades on his homework. I use to tell mine I made good grades when they were in school because I wound up doing most their homework.
I remember those days for sure Linney, good talking catch ya later on. Moon have a question if ya have a minute.
Kids are too cute at Christmas, Flowers....wait until you get the first frost before you bring the mandevilla in. That way, you can cut it back and releive the stress of being moved, but you still get to see it on the fence a little longer.
Yea ma'am?
I'll do that, figured since I have to cut it back then if nights are too cool and wilt it that will still be ok
I bought a cordless electric shear, now am getting a lot of negative feedback as to performance. I need something to trim shrubs and ornamental grasses back to the ground that are planted too far away for electric sheers. Thinking small chain saw. What would you suggest?
Are the shears performing okay for you, but others don't like them, or are they giving you trouble when you use them?
haven't used them yet, thinking about taking them back as one lady had some just like them worked ok maybe twice and went kerplunk, seems there is a battery problem concerning the cordless ones.
hey jj's didn't mean to leave you out, think baby girl left for a bit.
Thats ok flowers. I don't usually have to many answers just take in all the knowledge. GS just got home so have to do the homework thing like the others and DH just came in behind him with blood running down his arm. Better tend to the flock
well I always called it milkweed because loved chewing on it for the sweet milky taste but sure that is not the name. I found popping out weeds with a spade or hoe is the best sure fire way of them not coming back. If you have a lot of them your yard may look like it has the mange until good grass fills in the spots where weeds were.
Well I tried to play catch up but I just gave myself a headache, I'm sure if it's important ya'll tell me right?
ok jj take care of the flock, hope everthing is ok, let us know. Moon if ya think of anything let me know. Go to the homework and will catch up with ya later. Sianara all.
Hey Trina, hows the world treating ya
if i my stepson would hurry his ass up great
busy time of day, everyone is hungry or busy, I was just getting ready to jet myself but wanted to say Hi.
moon check your d-mail
Karen, they may not have been heavy duty enough to handle what she was cutting, but if you aren't confident that they will perform well then take them back and look for a good quality ergonomic pair of loppers. They are made to be user friendly and styled to be comfortable to handle. Nothing is worse than being in the middle of a job and having the battery run down. Grin
For the ornamental grasses here we use a cutting head for the weed eater. It is two plastic encased metal bars with a very sharp edge, that fit onto your weed eater. It is safer for cutting the grasses than a chain saw because you don't have to bend down over the saw to cut. When you go to return your shears bring the name, make and model number of your weed eater with you so the sales clerk can help you find the right ones to fit it.
Also, it would not be a bad idea at some point to get a small 8 or 10 inch chain saw to have on hand for the larger heavier cutting jobs. Anything bigger and you should have some help.
oops I just realized I said a bad word! I apologize to all!
help for a chainsaw bigger than 8 to 10 inches.....hhhmmm....Really? OOPS
Don't terll my husband that cause I won't let him use my chainsaw, and if he saw that he'd argue with me about me using my chainsaw!
The lopers and blades for weedeater I have but limited as I am with lungs was trying to think of something easier and faster that I could handle.Do they sell blow up gardeners? lol
its ok on the usscay we all have our moments lol
I think might be a wise investment for the simple reason I get sapplings that I don't want that get a few feet high before I get to them.
