Now, 20 years ago, Crissy, I might grab a stool and down some tequila shots, with a coke chaser!!!
Those days are history!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Would you say that was quick stepping at it's best Jaye?

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

ROFL!!!

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Now Jaye, I'm not quite that bad! LOL

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Good night ladies--I have to go get my beauty sleep. I just found out today my great great niece or nephew will be born on Friday!! Wahoo can hardly wait--then I might think about planning my trip to Canada. Need to talk with the Grandmother first.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

hmmmmm too bad Ontario Isn't closer to Alberta lol, eh, Marion?!?!

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Good night all, sleep well....we have a late night Pre-sale at the shop tonight and I have been volunteered to help out so it will be after ten (my time) before we get home.
Talk to you tomorrow!!

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

We are back home. Just popped back in with a prayer request. Our Associate Pastor is 37 years old and a Triplet. About a year and a half ago one of his brothers had a stroke...day before yesterday his other brother had a stroke...Don is very concerned for his brothers and also concerned that he is at high risk for a stroke also....Please keep Don and his brothers in your prayers.

Good night all, sleep well.

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

Trisha, Prayers being said for your pastor and his family. They will continue. How was your presale?

Prayers also bing said for Faye. I'm sure it will turn out to be a fluid or muscle problem and can be corrected soon.

Jaye, please tell Kel that Norm is doing very well. He has taken a job at a golf course mowing the greens, fairways, etc. It is sure a far cry from what he was doing before he got laid off last Jan. but it gets him out of the house and his depression is less noticable.
It is really good for him to be active. He has recovered completely from his last surgery and goes for checkups every three months. We will stay on top of things that's for sure.

I have my tote pattern too and will be looking for fabric this weekend. This sounds like such a fun swap!!!

When you spoke of your adventure last night, all I could think of was the scene in "Police Academy" when they went into the gay bar!!!!

Have a great day everyone...

Fostoria, OH(Zone 5a)

Susan, what kind of new sewing machine do you have and what can it do? Mine is a Janome 4900 and it is computerized but still a basic. I haven't tried anything fancy yet but need to do some detailing on a jacket I was working on. That will be lesson 1 this weekend.

BJ, now I know why we didn't hear from you for a while. You were busy with your new business venture. The jars and boxes are wonderful, as only you can do, and I know people will buy. They just have to SEE first!

As far as your car is concerned, I don't know about Texas but Michigan has a dept. throught the state attorney general's office that deals with consumer problems like this. You can tell the dealer that you have reported him to this office and they will be looking into his shady practices. Lots of time that is enough to get them to back off, but they really will check this place out. I would simply not pay what you didn't authorize!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Good morning, coffee's on!!
LK.. are you up yet?
Wow, Maid M.. I bet a new baby certainly warrants a family reunion. Hope you do make trip, and to create new, happy memories for you ;)

Could imagine your AP's anxieties, Trisha. Perhaps he should get a comprehensive check-up to make sure there's no blockages.

Janice, the block is mailed out today. Sorry I'm late. I never could quite convince myself to start all blocks at the beginning of the month.. and not wait till the very last minute :( Perhaps for the next one it will be so, as the colors asked for are the same.
Maybe I should put down the books :D

Though the pay may not be what he wants, Barb. Norm is exposed to fresh air.. a much more calming job... and like you say.. away from depression! WTG Norm!! You're a success story!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Morning everyone!
I am up, just spent time outside watering, and watching the hummers!
Trisha, saying prayers for the pastors family! Tell him he needs a checkup!
Glad to hear Norm is working and doing better.

Time for everyone else to check in.

LK

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Hi LK, have you chosen your tote pattern yet?
I've pondered over so many, it's giving my unnecessary headaches!!!

Time to go out there and water the plants. BRB.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Arkansas has the same thing with the Attorney General's office. It's really neat.

Thanks for the coffee Jaye! I'll see ya'll later!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Have a good day at work, Crissy.

Well, Kel just called, said Murdock can't pursue his chemo today, as his blood count is still too low. That's after a 2 day shot was given to alleviate what they called "Bone Marrow Suppression".

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

No, i have looked at many patterns, and can't decide, but I think I have one in mind!
Here are a few more links if you need more ideas! I like the first one, with the drawstrings. Some have directions, some don't, but they will be easy to figure out!

OK, I will quit for now!

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

What kind of machine? hmmmmmm it's a cheap Brother - under $200 lol
I spoke to a friend of mine at work (she's a quilter, too - wait a minute, I don't quilt enuff to say I'm a "quilter".........lol), and she's looking at a machine for $18,000!! Yikers - I'm not in her league LOL

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Goodness... $18,000!!!
Happy for anyone that can afford that!!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

LK, that last pattern uses fabrics from Robert Kaufman's line. Same butterflies fabric I sent Cindy.
AND we can't get enough tote patterns right. Always good to 'file' them away for making gifts!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Humm, could it be a long arm quilter? Some of them cost that much.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

You may be right Maid M. I've thought of that too.
Would love to own a long arm.. but got to get the piecing perfect first!

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

I'm with Cindy - Love butterflies!!
I have 'em in my house - brass 3-some on my dishes display cabinet, a wall-hung butterfly tealight holder, plus a butterfly wall plaque (all brass). I have butterfly earrings and necklace, and of course all the butterflies I'm starting to put in my garden lol

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

Marion, yes, it's a long arm quilter she's wanting to get. Apparently some of the rural qult shops charge less - $3k less! Even 12-15K is a lot for me to think about spending on a sewing machine, even if it IS a special quilting one lol

I'd have to win the lottery to even contemplate it!

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

LOL Susan, I would to, but they say you have to play to win, I don't understand that :p

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

You must be engaging brains today, Crissy! Yep, why play to win.. they should say Buy And you might win!

How's your coughing today? If you keep coughing like that, either see the doc, or take something that would make your coughing productive.
Sounds like you might have a URI if it's not your asthma.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

Play? Buy? who do I have to do either?

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Lol Susan. Come down Stateside, and almost all convenient stores sell lotteries.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

ROFLMFBO
Ok for you, Miss Jaye!! Let me tell ya - we have lottery store, politicians AND clocks here in backwards ole Canada!! So There!!! :-(

awwwwwww Jaye, I's only funning ya!! LOL LOL

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Welcome to this century Susan :D
Lolol!!!! Here we are in great ole USA, I'm still on dial up.
Just read that S. Korea and Singapore topped the world's fastest internet speed, and USA is at 27th!!
So, who's in the 3rd. world???

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

My coughing is a lot better, thanks for asking, and it is productive now, it was productive yesterday and I just forgot to mention it. Every cold I get does this, just have to deal with it. I have Advair so that usually takes care of any bronchitis issues I might have. When I breathe in I can feel it rumbling in my chest, so it's real loose.

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

Whose in 3rd, whose in 4th, whose in 5th LOL!!!

We just voted in a State Lottery last November, We're going to be able to start buying tickets pretty soon, don't remember the date off the top of my head.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Crissy, has your office talked about a lottery pool?
This S.C. man that won 295 mil., said he bought $2 worth, and wasted $1. Funny guy ain't he!

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

2 9 5 mil? no periods? Two hundred and ninety five million?????

Btw - all you smarty-pants - we've had lotteries for many many many years!! (just in case someone was taking me seriously about the clocks, politicians, and lotteries!!)
my goodness, we're not so backward as to not have corner stores and their lotteries LOL LOL ^_^ ^_^

Actually we have many organized branches of the gov't dealing with gambling addictions people have, to the VLT's especially....

~Susan~

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Hehehehe.. who's the intense one now!!!!
Of course Mother England wouldn't want her favorite Canuks to remain in the 18th century right ;)

In the late 70's I was 'suckered' into one of those Canadian Lotteries.. you know the prize would be a big beautiful home in Vancouver??
I bet the real prize was just a tin shack!!

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

Mother England? her favourite Canucks? hmmmmmmmmmm
m'thinks you're mistaking us with the English......
We're really a seperate a country from England as you are. We just were too cheap to throw away tea LOL
Yes, there are a lot of monarchists, but no, we don't sing God Save The Queen unless she visits but that's only because we're polite.

See? I knew it - Americans seem to have as skewed an image of Canadians as we have always said............
The thing about being intense is........ I "tilt at windmills" but at least I don't get stale LOL
For quite awhile I used to get upset with myself because I'm intense, and "no one understands me" :-( LOL but now........ I just "get over myself" LOL LOL
ok, so.......... where's my Bartender to complain to? LOL

Ain't life grand!!! LOL

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

((((((((((Susan)))))))) Upright or tilted, we love you!!!
As long as you don't expect me to chase windmills, we get along grand here!!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

http://www.txlottery.org/export/sites/default/index.html

our mega millions is up to 325 million for friday night. now keep in mind like 7 other states play it too, but i can share really nice!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

That's a nice number... even a million is a nice number when one don't have it! Good luck LK.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

You will all be invited to a cruise for sure! Wouldn't that be nice! A DG Sistah cruise?

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Woooooweeeee!!!!
That will be one SUPER Cruise for sure!!
