More Basil

Wichita, KS(Zone 6a)

ummm...can I be a roadie? I'm pretty good with extension cords :)

Wichita, KS(Zone 6a)

oh moon I just saw your post lol....I didn't drink all that, no really I didn't! some I got on ebay, a box of 200, and I have about 200 more from one of the drivers at work. His best buddy has a bar and he nabs them for me because they just get thrown out. Crown Royal bags are like zucchini here at my house. I give them away because they just keep multiplying!

Oh SUUUUUURRRRE babeegirl! WE believe you...
;)

Ya we can be roadies. Can't be back up singers, well I can't be, you don't wanna hear me sing. I only torture my dog & cat with that. We can pick all the green m&m's from the bag for them.

(Zone 5b)

Wow I was tired when I read this last night & the Crown Royal thing wasn't making sense...wow, babee, that's some work! It looks awesome! I've never had that kind of patience.
Y'all don't want to hear me sing either.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

We had fun with one thread, now that we have multiples it is just getting silly...love it...the ancient rolodex in my brain is smoking trying to keep them straight....must be ambient Crown Royal fumes....LOL..that is a great quilt by the way babeegirl.

Guess we have to leave the singing to Jim and Dave...can't carry a tune cuz the bucket is rusty...grin..but hey, kazoos don't require you to carry a tune....The Rock Hound Gypsy Girl Kazoo Band featuring da Guys on vocals......the marquee would fall with a name that long....lol

Kazoos, I love it, I can hear it already!

(Zone 5b)

hi Ican....what time is it there?
It's raining and 59 degrees here! Can you believe it?? I know I was asking for it, but 70's would be a nice drop in temp, 59 is a little extreme....

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Careful what you ask for, eh? Almost have to grab a sweater at 59...grin...but hey what's a 30 degree drop in temps in August? Gonna go down as one of the strangest weather summers in history.

LOL! It's 11:15am here. I am still lazing about like a bum. SOOOO bad today. It's 54 here. Going down down down for fall.
Will be in the 20's before long. But lots and lots of snow is coming. :) Just hope we don't have the windstorms we had last fall. I back up to the mountains so my bbq went flying. Have since learned where to prop it so wind direction doesn't make it fly off like Kassy's legless chicken.

(Zone 5b)

It's 3:20 here....got called into work for a bit, now I'm home alone for the first time since June...I don't even know what to do first! lol
I can't believe it's as cold as Anchorage here.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Revel in the silence for a minute and then make a big loud noise in each room....then revel in the silence again....it won't last long....lol

(Zone 5b)

no it won't that's for sure....

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Isn't it amazing how much noise a couple small bodies can muster up? My daughter says that is the thing that amazes her most about having two. I just laugh and think what if you had three?

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

Ican, Footless, not legless :p
He would be in real trouble if he was legless........LOL
Honest, we didn't eat his drumsticks!

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Poor baby, worst case of athlete's foot in chickens ever recorded....grin. Deserves to be in a movie...grin

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

LOL, and I tried to post on the other post behind Dave, and for some reason it won't post!
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
OK off to work for the last night. ^_^ for a whiile anyway!

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Be careful Kassy. Have a good night. No more nights for a week and a half....yea!!!

Right right, footless :) Have a great night!

I'm sorry the legless chicken visual just came to mind. Man ya gotta get that chicken some flaming wheels. He'd be the envy of the flock. One BA daddy. I think the chicken should be our new mascot. We can make him a t that says Gypsies Rock, join the band :)
Cool T, rockin wheels, what more does a chicken need...oh wait...shades!

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

And a little wax for his comb...oooh shiney.

LOL! I dunno, he's soundin pretty cool.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Crowing his way through the sorghum stalks on his fire spitting wheels powered by a biodiverse molasses based fuel delivering the messages from the Gypsies of the Sorghum.....oowwwooo, low scary music (played on kazoo)

oooooo, Ghost rider chicken.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

lol...coffee on the monitor....would he be Nicholas the Caged?

ROFL!!!! I like it!

But wait...OUR chicken is the UNcaged

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

I fought the craw and the craw won......grin gotta have a theme song....

Oh I think you're on a roll!

A rebel without a claw

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Clawless

LOL!!!!

(Zone 5b)

hahaha I almost spit my coffee out......Rebel without a Claw...Nicholas Caged...

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

That's our mascot, Lynnie, totally Clawless. Grin

Hey don't be messin' with da claw

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

LOL, but we have been calling him Footless all this time!

Oh man, you girls are really going to make me do something bad on this vacation!!

"Dear, grab Footless and hold him down, just for a minute dear.
It's OK Footless, honest it is"!!!!

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Oh ya gotta cut loose....footloose....

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

Actually he does have one claw I think......I believe he grew a spur on the longer leg.
Yes, hes legs are different lengths :p

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Keaau, HI

Hi Jean, it looks like Pseuderanthemum laxiflorum, but with white flowers.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Dave, I have not been able to find a single listing or picture for a white blooming P laxiflorum....and the pictures of the amethyst P laxiflorum don't match.
