Synda, I will be up at my mom's this weekend. Getting my rooms organized and cleaning up the back yard to make me a shade garden for my Angle Trumpets. In the past I've always camped this hoilday weekend to celebrate my birthday but someone had to screw it up. His b-day is the 31st so he screwed it up for himself also, LOL.

Memorial Day weekend is kinda an emotional time for me..........7 years ago my Uncle Richard died,at home ,alone.He layed in the bath tub for the entire weekend while we all partied within minutes of his home.And no one ever thought to go and see why we haven't seen him.We found him on Tuesday morning after the holiday weekend.Because he didn't get ready to go to work.He died of the same heart disease momma has.We just didn't know he had it to.Growing up I was his shadow.
So maybe me and Rick will just go for a drive and get away from here for a while and work in the yard or over at mommas.He died of the same heart dsease momma has.

Oh Synda, that is awful. So sorry that happened. You need to make new memories for this hoilday. A good one would be, to be at BJ's.

Oh Cindy,my life ,is like a book you read......LOL.My eldest son died 4 days after my 18th birthday,my granny died on Christmas morning,one our our dearest friends was murdered last year on his birthday,which was the day after Ricks birthday.At least half of the family shares someone elses birthday.I could go one and one...........

Stacey, I am going to miss seeing you and everyone else too! I am so sorry, I can't be there this time. But there will be another time!
Andy will talk some, but he will probably be concentrating on your tattoo, so maybe you can use BJ's laptop for your music?

i am getting worried about my traveling buddies--haven't seen much of them today. Deborah, Kris where are you two--off plotting against me? LOL

On my day after tomorrow we start our end of the trip to be part of the group converging on BJ come Friday. Tink, I am thinking about bringing my laptop so between the 2 of us, one should work for you.

We partied yet again tonight to celebrate the real 4th birthday. Youngest GD wanted pizza and Grandma and Kimmie to come--so DIL called and we had a girls night out--Daddy is out of town on business. Oh but it was fun!

Synda, we seem to have the same luck with dates. Unfortunately life does go on and we find some way of coping with things.

I think I am calling it a night--my 14 year old full bloodied manx kitty died today and I am a little shaken and sad.

Oh Marion I'm am so very sorry for your loss.......If my Jack left me I'd be devastated.

Right now she is in heat....And hangs on Rick.Tonight he was standing with his back to the bed and she was on the bed with her front paws on the waistband of his jeans hugging his leg.He turned his head around and tried to explain to her about sexual harassment.........LOL,she didn't care.

Ok,, I was working in garden allllll day!
We put in a bog garden,, It sure looks ugly.. but I gues it will look better in a couple of weeks,, or months,, We cleaned and mowed most of the garden, put in a few plants.
Now I need to wash clothes, pack my meds and Laptop, some books for the drive and I will be ready to go!!

CASINO?? Did some one say casino? Ohhh, I am going to have to go though all my drawers and humm better check the closet too. I know what a casino is for! It is for asying goodbye to your money. But still I cannot resist..

This sounds like the most fun I have had in years!! I get to go on a road trip with gals who will ignore all my scaddiecatness,, humm is that a word?? Anyway, I am glad I decided to go,, course I would not be going if Marion had not been sooo kind as to offer to take me!!

Cindy: Congrats on the weight loss!! You will be in to shape soon enough. I am glad you have a garden at your mom's,, Cause you will need somewhere to hide that mossing garden sign. It has finally had the first firing!! So you will get it soon after I get back and can do the second firing!!

Marion,,,, I am so sorry about your pet. When my dashhound got hurt I was devastated. the vet bill were way to much for us to pay so this nice couple in North Corolina adopted him and paid for the $7500.00 surgery. He is doing well there,, but If I had kept him I would have had to have him put down,, I cried for days,,,Now why would you think Deberah and I would go anything behind your back,,,lol well maybe,,

So sorry you lost your furry baby.. 14 years is a long time... and I'm hoping Rimau, our oldest cat will make it that long. Rest well dear sistah..

Vet charges around here are atrocious too. We finally found one that's reasonable.. still the monthly maintenance cost for dogs are getting more expensive.. as in the heartworm treatment. You're lucky Kris, your daschund got rescued.

Synda, will Rick pick up the smoke bush for you? They're pretty...
So sorry important dates bring bad memories for you. Especially your son's death.
Like Maid M says, life has a funny way of going on no matter what.. so..you just got to make happy memories and that will be easy with a great DH like your Rick :D

Inever even ask him about the bush....I did mapquest and it is like 400 miles away..........There is no way I'd go that far for a bush.......LOL.He'd think I'd lost my mind...
