Marion hope you get your septic tank issues fixed soon! We had a septic tank here for years, and about 3 years ago, the city made us hook up to the city sewr and water system. Then they charged everyone $1200.00 for the hook up, then our water bill went up! Always something!

Bj, how about a little fence or something around the grape arbor to deter that dog? Geesh, Don does all that hard work for the animals to come behind and dig it all up!

$1200 for hookup initial fee is outragous Linda. Did you speak yo mind? They should have jiggled the budget from taxes, instead they invented a whole new budget to fund the project....y'all. Errrr

Morning sistahs... I don't know why, but I slept so light last night... woke up every now and then for no reason... was able to fall back asleep, just to wake up again after an hour or so. I'm feeling tired this morning.

I agree with Deb, $1200 is an absurd amount to pay for water/sewer hook up when you didn't have a choice.

I sent Don's mom an orchid. She's not much of an outdoor gardener, but I hope she likes the orchid... she has a perfect living room window to showcase it.

Deborah, I'm happy to say that all those plants you sent me are doing great, except for the EE, :( I think I planted it in the wrong spot. It was staying to wet and turned to a yukkie white blob. But that's alright. Like I was tell BJ I just want 1 leaf to make a birdbath. I'll just have to take a short road trip when I'm ready to make it.

I have to say that I loved the book The Bridges of Madison County, but I was not as thrilled with the movie....while I love Clint & Meryl-they just looked too old for the characters....IMHO
