LOL, my mom used to hide her Vodka from my Dad. Then when she wanted a drink she couldn't remember where she put it, LOL.

I have a set of chrome canisters on my counter and in each one there are quarters,dimes,nickels,pennies.I know Rick will never find them,he won't cook......LOL.I used to have a gal. jug and e would rob me all the time.........I learned.

LOL... I remember finding a $50 bill once in my grandmas old bible when I was a little girl ... she shreeked like a banshee when she saw it... "I wondered where I put that... I look for a week"...

Kim, that looks like a plate that my mom had once... I don't know what happened to it... haven't seen it since it hung above her kitchen door.

Yep, when I worked at motels, that is the first place I'd look, then under the mattress. One time I looked under a tv and found $500, nobody came back to claim it so yep after 30 days I got it. Found out that the guy who had rented the room had kidnapped his 2 little girls. No wonder he didn't come back for his money, LOL.

Looks like I will have the house to myself for awhile tomarrow. Rick is going fishing yippee!!!!!

there was a whiIe I would put all the money I had left in a jar come the new payday.and I saved a little over a thousand dollars that way.

Well Criminal Minds is coming on and I like to watch that so I'll be back.Rick asked me once why do you like all of these dead body shows,CSI,all of them,NCIS,Criminal Minds,Forenic Files,Bones........ETC.And I told him if he doesn't act right I want to know how to get rid of the body and not get caught.........LOL.

Evening every one. Cindy I am so sadden to hear you are down. You need to think about Cindy and do what Cindy wants ASAP!! Tough decisions I know but you are important to us. Had to laugh-sorry- about the bowling ball. That is why exactly why I gave up bowling, dropped it on my foot one night and I turned the entire bowling alley a different color it hurt so bad. Was shock even at myself with all the words I didn't realize I knew. Ohhh eeee, bad!!! Should have realized back then it was the start of my hand problems not me being klutzy.

Synda, love the canister trick. My late hubby was bad to drop his extra change in his shaving kit. He kept doing this until he would tear out the stitching before he then put the change somewhere else. You would think doing that once would tell you something but no..........
When I was getting ready to move here, I was cleaning out a couple of drawers that he kept things in for safe keeping. There was this sock tied up and heavy, oh my was it heavy. I undid the knot and dumped all the change on the floor and ended up with $348.00 he has stashed in that sock. What a surprise!! I am still bad to throw my change into something...coffee can, water jug, whatever is handy.

Jaye, sorry to hear you aren't feeling very well. What ever are we going to do with you dear? Tie you down so you don't over do it?

Linda Kay, I hope you have a safe trip with your Dad. I wish I could talk my Mom into coming and staying with me a while but it just isn't going to happen.

Well, I am on the tired side, went to school with Kim early ( I mean early for me---6:30) to assist her with setting up for the Spanish Honor Society Induction today. Geez, I could never have been a teacher!! My hat is off to all you who choose or chose that profession. She had 37 qualify and the best part, a very large number of parents were there to see their children inducted--what a great feeling to see so many parents involved with the child's life. Refreshing is more like it.

Think I will call it a night as tomorrow is going to be a busy day. Got to try and get back in touch with the septic tank people as this does need to be resolved---soon!

LOL... I watch all the same movies too... and Don records all the new Forensic Files that come on... so, when he travels, he doesn't want to miss one...
I worried about that for a while... but then I realized that it's usually the husband that is the first suspect... and they always get caught... so I feel a bit safer now... LOL

Oh, Marion... it has been a very long day for you... sheesh, woman...

We have tivo with Directv so we record while watching the other. But I go in the bedroom to watch Daning with the Stars.

Quick scan through...I am stuck in a boring bike club meeting right now.....

I grab all of Bill's change and put it away........my uncle was another story....about a year after he passed away my aunt was looking for something out in the freezer....didn't recognize one package she picked up.....opened it up and it was$1800 in cash......he did not trust banks. Wish I would find something like that in MY freezer....

That is so clever Kim. Am wondering if the frame could be somehow given a little gold.. since the plate's edge is gilded. Just my opinion.
Still, I would never have thought of framing a classic looking plate like that.

You'd certainly be stress free for a little while Cindy. Maybe he'd be able to think out clearly while fishing!!!

Yep... I love FF, CSI, Snap.. any thing to do with investigative shows. Got to be the age factor.

I have not said but maybe 4 or 5 words to him today. He did do some things that were suppose to have been done like um two weeks ago. He knows I'm mad so he is walking carefully. Hopefully I can get outside. I got my last two lilies today Black Beauty. The bulbs are huge the fill my whole palm.

Cindy, You need to take of yourself, and if you are not happy, then it is time for a change. A friend of mine gave me the book, bridges of madison county, and that is what made me make the decision to move on. Go rent the movie if you have never seen it.

Sounds like we all watch the same set of Crime/Forensic shows!! Started out to join the Police Force once...but we moved out of state, then out of the country, by the time we moved back here I was still interested, but had come to senses.....don't think I am emotionally cut out for it.

Jaye... my sweet little grandma read the bible everyday. The big one on the coffee table was just for show, but I liked to look at the pictures in it. She had another one that she practically wore out reading it so much.

LK, yes I have seen that movie. Is the book better? It's been so long since I've read a book. I've printed 173 pages of Stacey's book, and I'm taking it to Carson City for some ME time ^_^ Might have a few bloody marys too, LOL.

OOPss I got the numbers backwards 137 pages,LOL HOLY COW!!! I never finish it.

I liked the book as well as the movie, it just made me think, Hey what am i doing here, there are better things in life!
Have a good trip. You will enjoy Stacey's book, it is hard to put down, once you start reading it.

Trisha,in my younger days I WAS a Correction Officer.I still have a patch off one of my uniforms and my blackjack....I do even remember what else I have packed away.I loved that job,was the only woman in a hick town Sheriffs Office with about 5 guuys that worked midnights.Funny,my now mailman Bob was a Deputy also at that time and when I first started working there he locked me in the padded cell.
