My momma Christmas before last bought us an entire set of the Resin Wicker.She gott it all on Clearance for $200.Swing,2 chairs,love seat and end table.Then I bought a rocking chair at Big Lots and found an antique regular wicker coffee table at a second hand store for $20 and came home and spray painted it white(it already was,but looked rough) to brighten it up.Once I get the porch all cleaned and set up for summer I'll take pics and show you.

We got to the title office, FINALLY... didn't think it was going to get done today... next time Don would be available is in two weeks... so, I had to light a fire under them this morning. We signed papers while the printing was still wet, and the title commitment was still warm off the press.

Gonna get Don off to work in the morning, and then I have to clean, clean, clean... Mike is having 11 kids over here this Saturday for an informal b'day get together ... way late for his b'day, but he didn't have a lot of their numbers so he had to actually get back to school today to invite them. It's going to be a NOON thing, so they won't be here late...

I'm going to try to grow asparagus next spring... I think the trick is to prep your beds in the fall, and cover them till spring. Here's the site I'm reading to get instructions... now, I just need to find out where to buy some 1 yr old roots.

Or you can do asparagus like I do.....MIL went to Yakima to see my SIL came back with 20 lbs of Asparagus fresh out of the field this morning....splits it up with me, my mom, Laura and my son........guess what is for dinner tonight????

This last weekend was the Asparagus festival in Stockton. I've never gone because I've always been with men who don't like it. I love to put pickled Asparagus in my bloddy marys.

I like pickled asparagus on or in just about anything....yum......my brother also makes Award Winning Dilly Beans......his dilly beans and catered dinner are big ticket money makers at their Church Auctions!

OMG, I am so so jelous, I havew always wanted a wrap around porch! Since I was a kid...
First home i ever lived in had one...oh I adore them...yours is spectacular, So nice of your mom, what a marvelous gift.

...OH gosh, ogt some Kids isssues...so got to go and hug her up, encourage the best I can, Teenagers still scare me to gray hair quick...
