Trisha... that's what the broadcasters hate about baseball... never know what time they're going to get off. Actually, a guy that is based in Dallas was sent to Washington this weekend to broadcast that game... so, you can thank Mobile TV Group for being able to see in on your TV... Blame the ball team for being so slow.

LOL... sure trisha... right after he finishes the long list of other things I have planned for him to build yet... I'll send him right up there.

Will be interesting.....if we ever get through these games with Oakland I think we play the Rangers next....This has been one loooong tense game!!! Laura brought Sage over so none of us are getting anything done till this game is over!!

Evening Everyone

Just popping in once again for an update... WE GO THE HOUSE I WANTED!
Landlord called today and we are meeting to sign a years lease tomorrow. She is breaking up the deposit into 3 months for us since we spent a bit more on gas than we had planned on and didnt have all of it. Shes really sweet and loves Bella.. We will be giving her all we have and ill be flat broke but at least we will have a home of our own again..

I was told anything under $150 give her reciepts to take off the rent (even painting) and anything over that to please call and she will approve it first. I can landscape all I want and even have a nice lil yard with a white picket fence out back.. Its in a descent area and even only 5 doors away from Maxs brother and his 2 kids (same ages as Tony & Tristen).

Its a 2 bedroom but has a finished basement which we will be using as our master bedroom and office since its split into two rooms. She is leaving a new deep freezer for us to use.. Will try to post pics tomorrow but now I need to get some sleep..

The last time I followed baseball was when Toronto Blue Jays won the world series.
Soon after I grew tired of the long games.. and football is better for my short attention span. Gosh... how many years ago was that?

BTW, Trisha... the Ranger game last night didn't get over till 1:30am... 1hr 15min rain delay, and they stopped the game 3 times due to rain... it started about 8:45. Was a very long night for those who worked there last night.

'tis the night for it! DD won at soccer today, played very very well. Randall realized I was physically tired from yesterday's trip. he says he didn't realize I'd decided not to go to AIS nationals in Kansas City. I'm taking it easy today.


......guess what? he called me downstairs. says, "you're going to nationals. you're in the iris business, you gotta go. he was making my reservations. I'm going to nationals. (I tried to wring a side trip to BJs out of it....didn't work) I don't believe it! for the last three years I was denied it at work, this year I just didn't have the $$ because I wasn't working, and didn't have the health or stamina. since that soccer ball hit me, my vertigo is gone, and now I'm going wether I have the funds or not! he insists.

Listen to all the great news! Donna got her house, Bon is going to nationals, Kim won at the tracks... Wow! Great day for everyone.

Yep... it was a very good day... congrats to all of you who got good news today.

I didn't get to the grocery store today, so I had to scrounge around the kitchen to find what to pack Mike for lunch tomorrow... ended up making Rice Crispy Treats... So, Don comes in the kitchen and thinks I'm making them for him since he loves 'em. LOL... I just let him think that... Yep (I said) you're off tomorrow too, so I thought I'd make you something special...
Had to make 2 batches, though... 1 with pecans, and 1 plain.

Sheesh... had to run the dishwasher twice today... I don't know what's up with these guys.

Well, I'm off to beddy bye ... nighty night BSFs.

O goodness!! Thank you Randall.. that makes sense. Bonnie HAS to be in the loop for all important national iris event. That trip should be tax deductable. Okay Iris Queen, please take lots of pics.

Morning!!!!!! Didn't sleep well last night. DH didn't come home until after I was asleep, so I didn't get to ask him to put aloe on my back and every time I moved I woke up....oh well, it should be all better by tomorrow and I plan to stay out of the sun today...

Don is already out this morning putting the cross bars on the grape arbor... I'll be planting the vines later today.

We're closing on a house today. We're buying the house that my #3 son is living in, and he'll be making payments to us... we're just financing it for him.

And that, my dear sistahs, is all I'm going to do today. Oh, and I guess I'm going to have to cook dinner, but nothing more... this weekend tired me out... don't know why, but I just feel my age this morning.

I weeded my heart out this weekend and finished the edging I started last fall. I had to pull out grass and extract it from the existing plants-talk about a PITA!! My shoulders are a little sore from using all my strength to get all the roots-little buggers! Then I sprinkled blood meal everywhere to deter the rabbits....


Then last night I was bad.......I skipped ahead and did a brief writing of the end of the book. I had woken up yesterday morning and it wrote itself in my head as soon as I opened my eyes, so last night I typed out what was in my head. I cried while I typed, so I need to go back through and see if my blurry eyes made it horrible.

Go away for a weekend and you are 3 rooms away from before. What did I miss?

Good Morning! Howz everyone?? I've been away for a few days at an RU. It was a big one and lots of fun, but I'm still wore out from it. I'll be back later.

BJ, you are indeed so blessed to have Don. I know a lot of men who won't even pick up a plate to help their wives out, moreover to satisfy their wives' penchants for gardening!


Cody will be restricted from being online. They lost power due to the bad storms. Hopefully her utilities will be restored to normal soon.
